HEIGHT:
 6'1"

WEIGHT: 193

POSITIVES:

— Very good length and size. Physical player who disrupts routes.

—Strong tackler.

—Does a good job in block destruction. Sets the edge well.

—Plays with awareness and vision in zones.

—Shows the ball skills and hands to play the ball in the air.

NEGATIVES:

—Speed needs to build up.

—Trouble sinking hips for intermediate routes.

—Can show tightness with lateral movement.

2020 STATISTICS:

29 Tackles, 1 INT, 5 PBU

OVERALL

Campbell is an outside cornerback with good height for the position. He plays with good strength and physicality. While showing good straight line speed at times; there is also some hip tightness at the line of scrimmage and when sinking hips to get into breaks. With the ability to play the ball in the air, Campbell hasn't quite lit up the stats sheet the last three seasons.

Ultimately, Campbell doesn’t have the long speed required to consistently play bump and run at the next level. Although he ran a 4.39 at his pro day, he struggled with speed and quickness at times. Jaylen Waddle and Devonta Smith showed that during the 2020 Alabama vs Georgia game. Campbell may be best suited for a zone scheme or where he is primarily in off coverage and allowed to see routes in front of him.

Jaguars' GM on Tim Tebow: 'We'll Worry About That When the Draft Is Over'

The Jacksonville Jaguars have put a possible Tim Tebow signing on the back burner.

"He did come in for a workout several weeks ago or whatever that was," general manager Trent Baalke said, per John Reid of the Florida Times-Union. "He worked out as a tight end and that's the position he'll be playing. Right now, where it stands, we're going to get through the draft and our whole focus, quite honestly, has been on the draft. We'll worry about that when the draft is over."

Frankly, it seems like a stretch for Tebow to make the roster at 33 years old.

Not only is Jacksonville in rebuilding mode after going 1-15 last season and likely going younger after drafting quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the No. 1 overall pick, but the Florida product also has not appeared in an NFL game since 2012.

He completed just 47.9 percent of his passes during three seasons with the Denver Broncos and New York Jets, was released by the New England Patriots during training camp in 2013 and did not make the Philadelphia Eagles' roster in 2015.

Still, there is a connection in place when it comes to the Jaguars.

Tebow won two national championships and a Heisman Trophy with the Florida Gators while playing for new Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer. Meyer is also going to be neighbors with Tebow in Jacksonville.

A switch to tight end also figures to give him more of a chance to see the field after he struggled under center, but he was a quarterback throughout his collegiate and professional career.

For now, the Jaguars will stay focused on the draft before making any decisions on Tebow.

Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence Breaks Record for Jersey Sales During NFL Draft Night 1

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence made history Thursday with the most jersey sales by a rookie on the night of the NFL draft.

Lawrence doubled the Fanatics record set by Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow last year, per Darren Rovell of the Action Network:

Rovell noted that Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields took the No. 2 spot this year.

Lawrence was long expected to go No. 1 overall after a dominant collegiate career at Clemson that featured three trips to the College Football Playoff and a national championship. Jacksonville made it official Thursday night.

The Jaguars have long needed a franchise quarterback, and they finally have one who can potentially help them turn things around after they went 1-15 last season.

Jacksonville has missed the playoffs in 12 of the past 13 seasons, but fans hope Lawrence will usher in an era of great success.

Meanwhile, Fields landed in what could be an ideal spot as the Bears moved up from No. 20 to No. 11 to select him.

Lawrence, Zach Wilson and Trey Lance became the first group of quarterbacks to go 1-2-3 in the NFL draft since 1999, but Fields generated plenty of excitement as well since he joins a Bears organization that has needed a franchise quarterback for decades.

Fields outdueled Lawrence in the College Football Playoff semifinals last season and led the Buckeyes to the national championship game. While he may not have beaten out Lawrence in jersey sales, he will look to outperform him on the field again at the NFL level.

Trevor Lawrence is already making himself at home in Jacksonville less than 24 hours after being selected No. 1 overall in the 2021 NFL draft.

Per ESPN's Michael DiRocco, the new Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback has agreed to a multiyear memorabilia contract with Fanatics.

"I'm really excited to be joining the Fanatics team, especially since they are based here in Jacksonville," Lawrence said in a statement about the deal. "Fanatics is the most trusted brand in the industry and together we get to give fans even more access to the game through memorabilia and exclusive signed items."

DiRocco noted that Fanatics will be the lone provider of officially licensed autographed products and memorabilia for Lawrence with the Jaguars and Clemson Tigers.

Fanatics is an online sports retailer with headquarters based in Jacksonville, Florida. The company has merchandising deals with many of the biggest apparel companies and sports leagues in the world.

Lawrence has been racking up endorsement deals leading up to becoming the top pick by the Jaguars. The former Clemson star officially signed an apparel with Adidas on Thursday. He also signed a deal with Gatorade last week.

All of this has happened to Lawrence before he has signed his first NFL contract. He will get that done eventually, at which point the 21-year-old will officially become the face of Jaguars football and their greatest hope of becoming a powerhouse franchise in the AFC.

Travis Etienne's Fantasy Outlook After Jaguars Select RB in 2021 NFL Draft

Travis Etienne was always going to be one of the first running backs off the board at the 2021 NFL draft. But now that the Jacksonville Jaguars have scooped him up with the No. 25 overall pick, the question becomes what type of fantasy impact he'll have this season.

The former Clemson Tiger rushed for over 1,600 yards in each of his sophomore and junior seasons—and 43 total touchdowns on the ground—before posting 914 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior in 12 games. He did set career highs in receptions (48) and receiving yards (588) last season, adding two scores and erasing any narratives that he couldn't make an impact in the passing game.

But he does his best work after the handoff. For his career, he averaged a whopping 7.2 rushing yards per carry.

In late March, the NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah called Etienne the draft's 20th-best prospect, describing him as a "compact, muscled-up running back with outstanding burst and balance" who is "at his best as a one-cut runner, putting his foot in the ground and exploding up the field."

He added that Etienne "doesn't have elite vision or wiggle, but his speed is real, and it's spectacular when given a runway."

That gives him home run hitter potential in the NFL, the type of skill set that should make him appealing to you come your fantasy draft. Rookies always are a risky proposition when it comes to fantasy football, though the running back position is generally the safest to bet on.

Last season, for instance, Jonathan Taylor finished as the RB6, while James Robinson was RB7, Antonio Gibson was RB13, DeAndre Swift was RB18, Clyde Edwards-Helaire was RB22 and J.K. Dobbins was RB24. Six rookies finishing as top-25 running backs in fantasy should make you feel comfortable about targeting Etienne in the middle rounds.

But man, Etienne ending up in Jacksonville isn't great for him from a fantasy perspective. He'll enter an immediate timeshare with James Robinson, who rushed for 1,070 yards and seven touchdowns last season. In that regard, both players see their fantasy upside dinged.

But this will be an Urban Meyer offense. There will be a lot of running the football, and there will be creative ways to get Etienne the ball. He'll have a role. Just potentially not as big of a role as he would have had elsewhere.

Etienne has flex upside. Robinson probably settles into the RB2 range. Perhaps Jacksonville's offense will sustain both, but they each are riskier from a fantasy perspective together than they would have been separate.

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected one of the 2021 NFL draft's top running back prospects after choosing Clemson's Travis Etienne with the 25th overall pick.

The 22-year-old amassed 6,107 scrimmage yards and 78 touchdowns during his four years with the Tigers, who made the College Football Playoff each season of his tenure.

He capped his collegiate stint with 1,502 scrimmage yards and 16 touchdowns in 12 games. He rushed for 914 yards (5.4 yards per carry) and 14 scores for the CFP semifinalists. He now reunites with college teammate Trevor Lawrence, who was the first overall pick in the draft.

Here's a look at how Etienne should fit into the Jaguars' offensive depth chart:

QB: Trevor Lawrence, Gardner Minshew II, C.J. Beathard, Jake Luton

RB: James Robinson, Travis Etienne, Ryquell Armstead, Carlos Hyde

WR 1: DJ Chark, Collin Johnson, Jon'Vea Johnson

WR 2: Marvin Jones, Phillip Dorsett, Josh Hammond

WR 3: Laviska Shenault Jr., Terry Godwin, Jamal Agnew

TE: Tyler Eifert, Chris Manhertz

LT: Cam Robinson, Will Richardson

LG: Andrew Norwell, KC McDermott

C: Brandon Linder, Tyler Shatley

RG: A.J. Cann, Ben Bartch, Tre'Vour Wallace-Simms

RT: Jawaan Taylor, Derwin Gray, Austen Pleasants

The B/R NFL Scouting Department listed him fourth among running backs and 69th overall on its final big board.

B/R also stated that he had the best speed among any draft-eligible running back. The 5'10", 215-pound back ran 40-yard dashes of 4.41 and 4.43 seconds at his Pro Day on March 11.

Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network is very high on the Jennings, Louisiana native, ranking him as his top running back and 18th overall:

"Etienne is a compact, muscled-up running back with outstanding burst and balance. He's at his best as a one-cut runner, putting his foot in the ground and exploding up the field. He isn't overly elusive in the hole, but he hits it at full speed and absorbs contact while keeping his balance. He has plenty of speed to capture the edge on outside runs. He rarely loses a foot race once he gets into the open field."

Etienne now figures to carve out a significant role in Jaguars' backfield. He'll look to be the next Clemson offensive star to excel in the NFL.

That list includes superstars such as Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins as well as potential ones such as Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tee Higgins.

Etienne now joins a backfield that already includes James Robinson, the former undrafted free agent who ended up being one of the top rookies in the NFL last year. He finished the year with 1,414 yards from scrimmage and 10 total touchdowns.

The latest draft pick gives the team a new dimension with his game-changing speed and he should see plenty of action in his first NFL season.

HEIGHT:
 5'10 "

WEIGHT: 215

POSITIVES

— Pure home-run speed; can take any run or catch the distance.

— Runs with square shoulders to the line of scrimmage and has above-average contact balance. Able to burst through the hole and run through arm/soft tackles.

— Looks to be comfortable in any type of run scheme. Ideal fit in a zone-heavy run scheme that would allow him to go for explosive plays via the lanes created.

— Willing to be physical on his runs, although he sometimes doesn't have the play strength to bring it.

— Has no issues with running between the tackles, even given his size. Does not look to automatically bounce runs like most speed guys.

— Good hands. Can create big plays off screen passes and checkdowns. Does a good job of drop-stepping and getting north after making the catch.

— Productive four-year player for a top program. Has maintained consistency and health his entire career.

NEGATIVES

— Long torso and upright running style.

— Will get a bit antsy at times after receiving handoffs on gap (counter) schemes and run up on the back of his offensive line.

— Vision is inconsistent. Sometimes just doesn’t seem to be in the same rhythm as the blocking.

— Willingness to be physical combined with a high running style can leave him vulnerable to hits that will add up in the NFL.

— Pass protection needs a lot of work. Needs to improve on eyes and technique, especially given his size.

— No durability issues in college but has nearly 800 touches on his odometer.

2020 STATISTICS

12 G, 168 carries, 914 yards, 5.4 avg., 14 TD, 48 rec., 588 yards, 2 TD

OVERALL

Etienne will be a premier home run hitter in both the running and passing games as soon as he gets to the NFL. He shows good physicality on his runs, and his skill set will allow him to fit into a multitude of run schemes, but ideally, he would be in a zone-heavy scheme that would let him plant his foot and take advantage of blocking lanes. He has a slighter build than many running backs and an upright running style that will leave him vulnerable to big hits.

He will need a lot of work in pass protection, which will limit his play to first and second down, and ideally, he will be paired with another running back who can take some of the load off him. Etienne has above-average vision overall, but his tempo on runs can be out of sync with his blocking in front of him, and he will end up running into the back of his offensive lineman and stop a play dead in its tracks.

Overall, Etienne will be a threat to score every time he touches the ball, but his role will be limited at first until he improves his eyes and technique in protection and learns to consistently pace his runs better. This lack of tempo can lead to too many wasted runs in between the explosive ones. He’ll be best on a team with another running back to ease some of his burden initially.

2021 Jaguars Schedule: Examining Top Defenses Trevor Lawrence Will Face

If they haven't already, Jacksonville Jaguars fans can finally start buying those Trevor Lawrence jerseys.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced Lawrence as the first player off the board in the 2021 NFL draft Thursday night.

The 21-year-old was effectively pegged as the No. 1 pick in the 2021 draft from the moment Clemson lifted its third College Football Playoff National Championship in January 2019. That level of certainty remained after the Jaguars were assured of finishing with the NFL's worst record.

As a result, hearing NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell call Lawrence's name first overall Thursday night was largely a formality.

The league has yet to release the 2021 regular-season schedule, but teams already know their opponents for the year ahead. Here's who will be on the docket for Lawrence's maiden voyage in the pros.

Jaguars Home Opponents

Jaguars Away Opponents

Analysis

The Los Angeles Rams allowed the fewest yards (281.9) in the NFL in 2020, and their secondary often set the tone. They surrendered just 190.7 yards through the air, best in the league, and held opposing quarterbacks to an 80.4 passer rating.

However, the Rams were victims of the salary cap as they watched starting cornerback Troy Hill and John Johnson, one of the league's better safeties, leave in free agency. While Jalen Ramsey is still around, this may not be the daunting matchup for Lawrence it would have been in 2020.

The same can't be said of the Buffalo Bills, who have all of their key players returning after finishing fifth in opponent passer rating (86.9). Tre'Davious White and Tremaine Edmunds both reached their second straight Pro Bowls, and the Bills also boast a solid safety duo with Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde.

The Indianapolis Colts, meanwhile, boast a pair of 2020 All-Pros in DeForest Buckner and Darius Leonard. The former looks like he'll live up to his four-year, $84 million extension after posting 9.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss.

Pro Football Focus' Anthony Treash ranked Indianapolis as the fourth-best secondary last season and highlighted Xavier Rhodes as one reason why:

"However, he looked vastly different in 2020 than during his final days in Minnesota. His coverage grade jumped to 77.5 and his catch rate allowed dropped to 50.7%. He produced at a top-10 level on the outside, and Kenny Moore II played at a top-three level in the slot with an 84.6 coverage grade at that position."

The Denver Broncos missed the playoffs for the fifth straight season in 2020. They will have Von Miller back in 2021, and they signed Kyle Fuller to join a defense that already had Kareem Jackson and Justin Simmons. Denver figures to be a difficult test for Lawrence.

Along the same lines, the Arizona Cardinals upgraded on defense by adding J.J. Watt and Malcolm Butler. Patrick Peterson is a future Hall of Famer but didn't play like one a season ago. Going from Peterson to Butler should make Arizona more formidable against the pass.

In general, Lawrence isn't going up against a murderer's row of elite defenses, with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Football Team and Tampa Bay Buccaneers among the notable teams not on Jacksonville's schedule.

However, there are plenty of games ahead in which the rookie quarterback's inexperience could be exposed.

Jacksonville Jaguars receivers

DJ Chark and Laviska Shenault Jr. were pleased with the new addition to their squad, celebrating the team's decision to draft Clemson star Trevor Lawrence on stage at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville.

Lawrence will inherit a team that went 1-15 last season, giving them the No. 1 overall pick that they used to draft him. He's certainly an upgrade over the trio of signal-callers they used in 2020, having three College Football Playoff appearances under his belt and a pair of national title game appearances.

He ended his collegiate career with 10,098 yards through 35 games, ending with a 33-2 record and a 2018 championship.

Chark led the Jaguars with 706 yards and five touchdowns last season, while Shenault was third behind Keelan Cole, who signed with the New York Jets this offseason. The ceilings for both Jaguars players figures to be higher with Lawrence on the other end of the ball in 2021.

Trevor Lawrence: 'I'll Do Everything in My Power' to Get Jaguars to Right Place

Let the Trevor Lawrence era begin for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

After the AFC South team took the Clemson quarterback with the No. 1 overall pick in Thursday's NFL draft, he told reporters, "we're so excited to get down there. Thank you guys so much. This is going to be a really fun year."

He also said, "I'll do everything in my power to get us back to where we want to be" when talking about a Jaguars team that went 1-15 last season.

Lawrence also addressed whether he expects to be the starter in Week 1:

Turning around the Jaguars will be no easy task, but college football fans are surely familiar with the two primary pieces in place who will try to do just that.

Lawrence joined Jacksonville during the same offseason it hired Urban Meyer as its head coach. Meyer is one of the best college football coaches in the sport's history but has never led a team at the NFL level.

Having the Clemson product figures to make his life easier, as Lawrence won a national championship and reached two more College Football Playoffs in three years as a college starter. He has long been assumed to be the No. 1 pick well before Thursday arrived and for good reason.

The 2020 Heisman Trophy runner-up threw for 10,098 yards, 90 touchdowns and 17 interceptions during his college career and also made plays with his legs with 18 rushing touchdowns.

He will have some weapons at his disposal with D.J. Chark, Marvin Jones and Laviska Shenault Jr. at wide receiver. That is a better group than could be reasonably expected for a team that won a single game just a year ago, so Lawrence will have an opportunity for early success.

To hear him tell it, he's ready to turn things around for the Jaguars.
