Less than one week after being selected No. 1 overall in the 2021 NFL draft, Trevor Lawrence and Adidas are teaming up to raise money for charity organizations in Jacksonville.

Adidas announced on Wednesday it will release a set of commemorative non-fungible tokens (NFTs) featuring Lawrence, with net proceeds from the sales going to support charities in his new home city.

The NFTs will be released as 3D animated trading card collectibles on Thursday between 10 a.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET. Fans can bid on NFTs in an auction, but there will also be items available for purchase.

Adidas is selling the NFTs through its official page on Bitski.com

The auction portion of the sale will include "a physical copy of the NFT and a pair of his first player-edition cleats, signed by Lawrence." The open-sale edition will begin at the same time as the auction. Fans will have the opportunity to buy the NFT for $100.

“I’m thrilled at the chance to use my platform and partnerships to help support the community that will soon be my home,” Lawrence said in a statement. “It is important for me to give back to this city that has already given me so much and I am excited to find a way to involve the fans in this special commemorative moment."

On the eve of the NFL draft last week, Lawrence and Adidas announced a multiyear partnership agreement.

Lawrence became the first No. 1 pick in Jacksonville Jaguars history on Thursday. He is expected to lead the franchise back to prominence in the AFC after a successful three-year run as the starting quarterback at Clemson.

Urban Meyer: Tim Tebow Will Interest Jags If We Feel Like He Can Help Us Win

Urban Meyer found his franchise quarterback when he drafted Trevor Lawrence at No. 1 overall, but that won't stop him from bringing back one of his former quarterbacks if the opportunity is right.

Meyer told USA Today's Jarrett Bell that he would be open to giving Tim Tebow a chance as the former Florida quarterback attempts an NFL comeback. Tebow requested a tryout and worked out with the Jaguars as a tight end.

“It’s very simple: If we believe that Tim Tebow can help us win a game, then we’d look into it,” Meyer said Monday. “And we’re not there yet. If it happens, that’s our decision behind it.”

Meyer was not involved in the workout and didn't even watch the entirety of it as he prepared for the NFL draft, according to Bell. Rather, tight ends coach Tyler Bowen supervised it, and Meyer said he will share his opinion on Tebow but will leave the decision to sign him up to his staff.

“Obviously, when you start talking about a position he’s never played, or hasn’t played in a while, that’s pretty tough,” Meyer said. “So, we’re reviewing everything.”

Meyer coached Tebow at Florida from 2006-09, and the duo won two national championships. Tebow was crowned the Heisman Trophy winner in 2007.

But his NFL career never quite panned out after he was drafted by the Denver Broncos at No. 25 overall. He appeared in 35 games and made 16 starts between Denver and the New York Jets, finishing his career with 2,422 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, nine interceptions and 989 rushing yards with 12 touchdowns.

Tebow then switched sports and joined the New York Mets organization. He played in the minor leagues from 2016-19 and reached as high as Triple-A ball. He stepped away from baseball in February.

The Jaguars could certainly use some help at tight end. They didn't address the need in the draft, so they're currently rolling ahead with free-agent pickup Chris Manhertz, who has scored just one touchdown in the last four seasons combined, as their TE1.

James O'Shaughnessy didn't score last season but tacked on 262 yards in his second season in Jacksonville, starting 13 games.

Tyler Eifert, the team's leading tight end in 2020, is a free agent.

Urban Meyer on Tim Tebow as TE: Jags 'Going to Revisit Here in the Near Future'

Former NFL quarterback and minor league baseball player Tim Tebow recently worked out with the Jacksonville Jaguars, with reports suggesting he could attempt to make a football comeback as a tight end after spending his career at quarterback.

On Saturday, new Jags head coach Urban Meyer spoke to reporters about that workout and the possibility of Tebow joining the team as a tight end:

"Tim and I've talked about, when he was a quarterback in the NFL that was a big topic. I was so busy, I didn't give him the time. 'What do you think? What do you think?' and I didn't know, I was too busy to even think it through. I know playing a position in the National Football League without—that’s a long shot, this is years ago. How did it happen this time? We had a conversation. He worked out with our tight ends coach, I stopped by, did not stay for the whole workout. Then our focus went to the NFL draft. We're going to revisit here in the near future. That's how that all happened."

Going from being out of the league since 2015 to playing a largely new position would be a major leap for the 33-year-old Tebow, even if Meyer acknowledged that tight end is a big need for the Jags. Perhaps Tebow's familiarity with his old college coach would help.

But if the Jaguars truly want to upgrade the position, there are probably better avenues to explore.

HEIGHT: 5'11 3/4"

WEIGHT: 195

POSITIVES:

— Has long arms that he uses to his advantage.

— Good speed when stride opens up.

— Smooth hips when opening in press.

— Shows ball skills and awareness, plays through hands well.

— True competitor with short memory.

NEGATIVES:

—Raw in technique. Breaks can be wide along with poor hand placement in press.

—Long strider who can lose a step redirecting.

— Shows just an average burst when blitzing.

— Light, occasionally gives extra yards on tackles.

2020 STATISTICS (four games):

9 tackles, 1 PBU

NOTES:

Top Cornerback at the 2021 Senior Bowl

OVERALL:

Daniel is a unique blend of length and physicality, with a dash of speed. Though he is raw, he flashes a lot of good qualities. He needs to continue to build out his frame and add strength. His physicality can lead to him being handsy downfield, but he doesn't panic and either locates the ball or plays through receiver. Pad level was an occasional issue, causing his breaks to become a bit sloppy. Within the Georgia defense, he showed the versatility of playing both in the slot and out wide.

Generally plays with a good cushion and positioning but can get beat deep at times. He lacks elite top-end speed to run with the burners. Although Daniel plays with good physicality, he has subpar strength and struggles with setting the edge. He will need to continue to add strength and fine-tune his technique at the next level.

(AP Photo/Ron Jenkins)

HEIGHT: 6'1 1/4"

WEIGHT: 225

POSITIVES

—Pre-knee injury film is some of the best in the class.

—Athleticism in 2017 and 2018 was a premium trait, but he did not test in 2020 after missing 2019 because of a knee injury.

—Projects as a run-and-chase Will linebacker with his foot speed.

—Consistent near-foot tackler.

—Does not shy away from contact, he invites it.

—Played multiple linebacker roles in an advanced defense.

NEGATIVES

—A knee injury cost him his 2019 season and 2021 pre-draft cycle, on top of a foot injury that kept him out of a playoff game as a freshman.

—Handsy in coverage and could be responsible for penalties as a professional.

—Lost athleticism post-knee injury, which could make or break his career.

—At times can read plays a tick slower than your average NFL linebacker.

2020 STATISTICS

76 TKL, 6 TFL, 1 SK, 1 INT, 3 PBU, 1 FF

NOTES

—Father played college football at Northwestern State, now a part of the FCS.

—Moses ran a reported 4.46 as a 14-year old and had a college scholarship offer by the eighth grade.

—Suffered an ACL injury in 2019 that kept him off the field for a year, and he has not looked physically the same since the injury.

OVERALL

Coming off of his 2018 season, Dylan Moses looked like the next first-round Alabama linebacker in the Saban era. After an ACL injury cost him his 2019 season, Moses returned to the field in 2020 visibly different than the super athlete we had seen in the previous two years, the one who earned college scholarships while he was still in middle school.

Moses underwent another procedure on his knee this offseason, which is what kept him from participating in a traditional pre-draft process, but his evaluation hinges on how he heals from his knee issue and if he can bounce back to his prior performance. With a full recovery, Moses could be one of the draft’s steals as a Will linebacker, as he was on the trajectory of being one of the next Alabama greats before 2019.

Urban Meyer Says Jaguars Wanted Kadarius Toney in Draft: 'Broke Our Heart'

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer told ESPN on Friday that an unnamed player who went off the NFL draft board before the Jags' selection at No. 25 overall Thursday "broke our heart."

On Saturday, Meyer confirmed to reporters that the player the Jags coveted was Florida wide receiver Kadarius Toney, who went No. 20 to the New York Giants.

"He's a human highlight reel," Meyer said.

Meyer isn't wrong, with NFL Network's Nate Burleson breaking down some of Toney's film on Friday.

The Jaguars ended up choosing Clemson running back Travis Etienne, who will now reunite with Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The Tigers' backfield duo dominated NCAA football together for three seasons, reaching two national title games and winning one championship. They'll now look to excel in the NFL as well for a Jacksonville team looking to improve from a 1-15 season last year.

As for Toney, he joins a Giants team that now sports Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton and him as the top four wideouts.

The Giants are looking to improve from a 6-10 season that saw them finish top 10 in defense but No. 31 in scoring offense. Toney's explosiveness should only help New York as it looks to win the NFC East for the first time in 10 years.

Tim Tebow Rumors: Jaguars Signing Former QB to Play TE 'A Real Possibility'

Tim Tebow has a legitimate chance to return to the NFL as a tight end with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network:

"Nothing is done, but it is certainly a real possibility," Rapoport said.

The Jaguars represent a chance to reunite with Urban Meyer, who coached Tebow in college at Florida. Rapoport noted the two have almost a "father-son" relationship.

Rapoport first reported Thursday that Tebow had worked out for the Jaguars at tight end.

The 33-year-old last appeared in an NFL game in 2012 with the New York Jets. He got a few more chances in training camp but hasn't been a part of a football team since before the 2015 season with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Tebow then tried his hand at baseball, spending five years in minors of the New York Mets organization before retiring in February 2021. He also spent time as an analyst with ESPN during this stretch.

A return to football after such a long time away could be difficult, but he could have support in Meyer, who won two NCAA national championships with Tebow on the roster. The quarterback also won the Heisman Trophy in 2007 playing under the now-Jaguars coach.

Tebow became a first-round pick in the 2010 draft and started 14 games in two seasons for the Denver Broncos. The quarterback was more known for his running ability than passing, finishing with 887 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns in his two seasons.

He had a similar role with the Jets, finishing with 32 carries and just eight pass attempts in 2012.

This athleticism could allow him to succeed at tight end with the Jaguars, but the first challenge could be proving he is in good enough shape after all these years.

HEIGHT:
 6'6 1/8"

WEIGHT: 255

POSITIVES

—Long frame at a legit 6'6" with 33 3/8" arms.

—Is a high-effort player with a motor that runs hot.

—Understands how to disrupt passing lanes when his pass-rushing moves don't get home.

—A secure tackler on the edge.

—His ability to bend looked much better at the Senior Bowl than it did at UAB.

NEGATIVES

—Unclear what type of player you are getting because of inconsistent bend, high-effort plays but maturity questions.

—Is more of a late-in-the-down pass-rusher who cleans up sacks on quarterbacks who hold the ball too long than one who wins with quickness.

—Is fairly light for a player of his height.

—Loses ground at the point of attack.

—Worst game of his season was likely against Miami, his only Power Five matchup of the year.

2020 STATISTICS

41 TKL, 9 TFL, 4.5 SK, 1 INT, 1 PBU

NOTES

—Was suspended from Florida for a credit card scandal that led to he and fellow Gators lineman Kadeem Telfort (now also at UAB) leaving the team.

—Played junior college football in 2018 following his suspension at Florida.

—Made first and second team All-CUSA in his two years at UAB.

OVERALL

A project pass-rusher, Jordan Smith has inconsistently flashed tools that correlate with a future NFL starter while at UAB. The long pass-rusher must do a better job at generating pressure early in the down, but he's a fairly high-floor player on the field because of his hot motor. Should he continue to grow into his 6'6" frame while he fine-tunes his pass-rushing arsenal, he has the potential to crack an NFL edge defender rotation.

HEIGHT:
 6'2"

WEIGHT: 305

POSITIVES

— Great extension on blocks and finds the ball very well.

— Finishes tackles, often dropping weight and getting no knockback for yards after contact.

— Foot speed for a defensive tackle is above average.

— Low leverage and hands keeps him clean in short-yardage and on the goal line.

— Has a quick swim move that is his go-to tool as a pass-rusher.

— High-effort player who has even made an impact in the kick block game.

NEGATIVES

— Not a consistent tackler, which may tie in with him playing out of balance more often than you would want any starter to play.

— Fairly bland pass-rusher, as his quick swim is his bread and butter.

— USC mostly played him at three-technique, and he showed why when he had to handle double teams.

— His upside may be as a penetrating run defender at the under tackle position, which is typically where teams get interior pass-rush from.

2020 STATISTICS

Did not play in 2020.

NOTES

— Despite missing his senior year with a torn foot ligament, Tufele was ranked as 247Sports’ third-best defensive lineman in the 2017 high school class, and Rivals had him ranked fourth.

— As a redshirt sophomore, Tufele was named First-Team All-Pac-12 before opting out of the 2020 season.

OVERALL

After not playing last season, Jay Tufele is a bit of a forgotten man in the 2021 draft class. The big defensive tackle does not handle nose tackle looks as well as his frame would suggest, but his three-technique snaps show a penetrating run defender who at times flashes the upside of the likes of Ndamukong Suh.

There are clear holes in his game, including pass-rushing, and questions about how valuable a run defending three-technique is in 2021, but he is a 21-year-old defensive tackle who had two great years of film in his two years of college playing time and a tremendous calling card. Should he continue his progression, he may develop into one of the steals of the draft.

HEIGHT: 6'0 5/8"

WEIGHT: 216

POSITIVES

—Plays with good instincts and vision to see plays develop.

—Good overall athletic ability to cover with quick feet and ball skills to attack ball in the air.

—Plays center field. Reads quarterbacks' eyes, tracks the ball in the air very well.

—Good feel for running lanes and takes good angles to the ball.

—Solid tackler. Does a good job getting the ball-carrier down.

NEGATIVES

—Average size and functional strength. Can get pushed around.

—Weaker tackler at times. Throws shoulders in tackles and gets shrugged off too much.

—Has average play speed and can struggle with faster receivers.

2020 STATISTICS

2 Games: 11 tackles, 1 INT

NOTES

9/26/20: Tore ACL in pregame vs. Georgia Tech

OVERALL

Cisco is a smart player with good instincts. Has the ability to play over the top and to drop in underneath coverage as a nickel. Good overall athlete who has some ball hawking tendencies to his game. He is able to get off the hash and defend the sideline. Shows to have a smooth backpedal with quick feet out of breaks. Attacks downhill to ball-carrier. Tackling the bigger and more explosive backs of the NFL would be a question as he struggled with twitchier athletes at times.

Cisco plays with good game speed but lacks explosiveness to run deep.. Unfortunately he tends to disappear at times and isn't consistent with his playmaking skills. Cisco tore his ACL in the pregame of the Georgia Tech game and chose to only do the bench press at his pro day. With the pro day being around the 6 month mark of his surgery, it is unclear how well he recovers and if he will return to previous form.
