HOW TO ENTER AND WIN: Sponsor will conduct a national Promotion encouraging participants to enter for a chance to win a prize. The promotion period will begin on Oct. 27, 2022, at approximately 2 p.m. ET and end on Oct. 28, 2022, at 2 p.m. ET (the "Promotion Period"). Sponsor will post content on Instagram @BRGaming on Oct. 27, 2022, at approximately 2 p.m. ET ("Sponsor's Post"). One (1) entrant will be randomly selected by Sponsor to win a prize. Potential winner will be notified by the Sponsor on Oct. 28, 2022. The odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
WINNER NOTIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS: Potential winner may be notified via direct message on Instagram or in the comments section of Sponsor's Post. Potential winner must follow the instructions provided as part of the notification, which may include providing an email address, telephone number, username and/or other means of verification. Sponsor will attempt to contact a potential winner up to three (3) times. If a potential winner (i) cannot be reached directly, (ii) does not respond to Sponsor within forty-eight (48) hours of the first notification attempt, (iii) is found ineligible, (iv) declines the prize, or (v) fails to comply with these Official Rules, such person may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be notified, or such prize may go unawarded, at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Deandre Ayton apparently works on his virtual hooping skills as much as he does his real-life ones.
The Phoenix Suns center told Maya A. Jones of ESPN that he spends between four and five hours playing NBA 2K every day.
"I don't think I could live without the game and that's real talk," Ayton said.
Ayton says he has already reached Level 40—the highest you can go—in four different 2K seasons for NBA 2K22, becoming a "Legend" in the process. He believes he's the only NBA player to reach Legend status.
For those unfamiliar, reaching Level 40 takes roughly 150-200 games in Rec (depending on your skill level) and potentially hundreds more if Ayton prefers to play in the Park or Old Gym.
To put it another way: Ayton has put in hundreds of hours crafting his 2K game.
Ayton says gaming helped him make friends as a teenager and reconnected him with people he lost when he moved from the Bahamas to San Diego to pursue his basketball dreams in high school. He manages to keep his basketball game and his one-year-old son at the forefront of his focus while also gaming thanks to an eye-popping sleep schedule; Ayton says he sleeps only a few hours a night and games instantly upon waking up in the morning.
"Gaming always keeps me level-headed. That's not a thing I'll ever lose. Like on the road right now. ... It's just a load off where I can just play the game and just chill out for a bit and then get back to work," Ayton said. "It's just video games and basketball. That's what keeps my head clear so I can play this sport."
Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar announced he is joining Facebook Gaming as an exclusive streamer of content.
Neymar's first live stream with Facebook will begin at 2 p.m. ET Friday.
“I’m very happy to partner with Facebook Gaming on my livestreams!” Neymar said in a statement. “The gaming world has always been one of my greatest passions after football, and I can barely wait to hang out and have fun with everyone who also shares this passion.”
Neymar has over 254 million followers on Facebook and Instagram, making him one of the most popular people in the world on both platforms.
The announcement says Neymar plans to stream multiple times per month and will do so with another content creator one time per month.
Facebook has been working on expanding its foothold in the streaming space in recent years as a competitor to services like Twitch.
Neymar is also set to debut a Netflix documentary, Neymar: The Perfect Chaos, in January 2022. The film is produced by LeBron James' SpringHill Co.
The NBA and Fortnite are teaming up for a special event ahead of the 2021 NBA postseason.
"The Crossover" will allow players to don a uniform from any of the league's 30 teams starting on May 21 at 8 p.m. ET.
Per an official release from Epic Games, locker bundles that were personally selected by NBA stars Donovan Mitchell and Trae Young will be available to gamers in the Fortnite item shop.
Gamers will also have the opportunity to get a Shoot & Score pack that includes "the Hookshot Emote and Mini Hoop Back Bling, which can feature the logo of all 30 NBA teams."
The event will also include a five-day team battle competition from May 19-23 featuring all 30 NBA organizations.
In addition to those items and events, there will be an NBA welcome hub added to Fortnite Creative on May 25.

NBA 2K21 released its latest ratings update Friday on the heels of Thursday's NBA trade deadline.
Among players who were involved in big trades, new Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic dropped one point to 87 overall following his trade from the Orlando Magic. Meanwhile, swingman Evan Fournier went up by one point to 83 after the Magic traded him to the Boston Celtics.
Some of the biggest risers in the update include Oklahoma City Thunder center Moses Brown going up seven points to 74, Houston Rockets forward Kenyon Martin Jr. increasing six points to 73 and Golden State Warriors guard Jordan Poole getting a five-point bump to 77.
Also, a pair of youngsters in Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Anthony Edwards and Brooklyn Nets second-year center Nicolas Claxton went up by three each.
Edwards, who is now an 80 overall, may be the front-runner for Rookie of the Year honors now that Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball is potentially done for the season with a broken wrist.
