Boxing legends Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield are joining forces for a line of cannabis edibles that references the most infamous moment of Tyson's career.
Through his cannabis company, Tyson 2.0, Tyson is partnering with Holyfield for "Holy Ears," an ear-shaped THC gummy, per Huffington Post's David Moye.
New: Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield have partnered up to create and deliver “Holy Ears,” edibles in the shape of an ear
“If i was on cannabis, I wouldn't have bit his ear,” Tyson said, referring to the 1997 fight when the boxer bit Holyfield’s ear pic.twitter.com/WNjdi5Tnlz
The name references Tyson and Holyfield's rematch in 1997. The fight ended after the third round because Tyson bit Holyfield's left ear.
"If I was on cannabis, I wouldn’t have bit [Holyfield’s] ear," he told Moye while making light of the moment.
This isn't the first time Tyson has capitalized financially on the transgression. In March, he released a line of ear-shaped cannabis gummies called "Mike Bites."
The 56-year-old has carved out a lucrative career following his retirement from boxing. In 2019, he estimated his Tyson Ranch sold around $500,000 a month in marijuana-related products.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. scored a sixth-round knockout of Deji Olatunji on Sunday in an exhibition in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The referee stepped in as Mayweather was throwing a series of punches with little response from his opponent.
As expected, the popular YouTuber was overmatched from the opening bell. Mayweather taunted Olatunji and even appeared to pull some of his punches. He could've ended things much earlier than the sixth round if he had so desired.
Floyd Mayweather stops Deji in the sixth round 🥊 Floyd was laughing and clowning around the whole time. Barely tried at all until he decided he wanted to finish it, collect the bag, and get out of there. #MayweatherDeji
Mayweather hasn't kept his motivations a secret. He doesn't need to make a full-time return to boxing because he can collect millions from exhibitions that require a fraction of the training and preparation. This was his fifth such event since his last official fight in August 2017.
It's unclear what's next for the 45-year-old, but fans can surely expect more of the same when he puts on the gloves again.
Jake Paul Rips Floyd Mayweather's Exhibition Win vs. Deji, Says He's 'Ruining' Boxing

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. continued his run of easy exhibition wins with a dominant sixth-round TKO victory over YouTuber Deji on Sunday, but one of his contemporaries isn't happy.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul took to Twitter to voice his displeasure with Mayweather's post-retirement boxing performances:
Floyd Mayweather is ruining the sport of boxing to pay his unpaid taxes.
Sunday's match marked Mayweather's fifth exhibition fight since defeating Conor McGregor in 2017 to retire from professional boxing with a 50-0 record.
Paul was in attendance at the exhibition event in Dubai and sat ringside. During the co-main event, he had gotten into an altercation with longtime rival Tommy Fury and his father John Fury after heckling the 23-year-old throughout his lackluster performance against Rolly Lambert.
John Fury, who is also the father of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, confronted Paul and ripped off his shirt while beckoning for him to get in the ring. Paul continued to fire insults at both father and son from the commentary table.
Martin Domin of Mirror reported that there was a near two-hour delay between the co-main event and the main event partly because Mayweather refused to walk to the ring for his fight until Paul left his ringside seat.
Mayweather and Paul do have some history, stemming from the buildup to his older brother Logan Paul's exhibition match against the 45-year-old last summer. A viral moment occurred when Paul stole Mayweather's hat, which enraged the former five-division world champion.
On Friday, Mayweather mocked Paul for his recent win over MMA legend Anderson Silva, saying he's not impressed with the 25-year-old's six-fight win streak over lesser competition.
"He’s just a lot of talk," Mayweather told reporters in Dubai. "It’s different when you’re [facing boxers] at the highest level; once you get in there with a real fighter that can really fight. Is he doing good? Absolutely. For who he’s fighting. Guys 50, guys 40. Does he want to fight me? Of course, I’m nearly 50 years old, of course, he wants to fight me."
If Paul can continue to rack up some high-profile wins as their rivalry continues to grow, it would not be out of the question to see him matched up with Mayweather in the future.
Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s circuit of exhibition boxing bouts continues on Sunday afternoon with a matchup against YouTuber Deji. Since retiring from official...

Professional boxer Jose Zepeda was arrested and released Tuesday after officers conducted an investigation in response to a battery call in Baldwin Park, California.
Per TMZ Sports, a Baldwin Park Police Dept. spokesperson stated that officers were called to a gym where a man told them Zepeda had punched him in the stomach. Police said there was no video evidence or witnesses to the alleged battery.
The spokesperson said Zepeda was issued a citation and that prosecutors were reviewing the case.
Zepeda started his career in Baldwin Park, California first as a boxing club member and then as an amateur boxing instructor.
The 33-year-old is slated to fight Regis Prograis for the vacant WBC Super Lightweight World Championship on Nov. 26 in Los Angeles. The winner would then fight Jose Ramirez, the first mandatory.
Zepeda is 35-2 (with two no-contests) in his professional career and most recently held the WBC Silver light welterweight title

Boxer Aidos Yerbossynuly was placed into a medically induced coma after his knockout loss to David Morrell on Saturday.
"Representatives of TGB Promotions and PBC are on the ground in Minneapolis with Aidos' team and we are monitoring the situation closely," Premier Boxing Champions said in a statement. "Out of respect for he and his family's privacy, we can't share any details but we ask the boxing community to keep him in your thoughts and prayers."
Assistant trainer Emanuel Savoy said Yerbossynuly underwent surgery after being taken to a Minneapolis hospital immediately after the 12th-round stoppage, per Ben Baby of ESPN. Morrell dominated the anticipated fight between the young super middleweight contenders, winning every round on two of the judge's scorecards and holding a 108-101 advantage on the other.
Savoy indicated Yerbossynuly's camp began considering stopping the fight in the ninth round but ultimately chose to continue.
"I actually had the towel in my hand," Savoy said. "Aidos wanted to continue. His head coach (Kanat Orakbaev) wanted him to continue. He evaluated Aidos and said nothing was wrong with him."
Yerbossynuly entered the weekend with wins in his first 16 professional fights and held the WBA International, WBC-ABC, and WBO Global super-middleweight championships. While Morrell was considered the favorite going into the bout, Yerbossynuly was ranked as the top contender in the WBA's super middleweight rankings.
Saturday was Yerbossynuly's first fight since September 2021.
Terence Crawford, Errol Spence Jr. Get into Argument on Twitter over Fight Talks

The drama never stops with Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr., who engaged in a heated argument on Twitter over their failed contract negotiations to set up a superfight.
Michael Benson of TalkSport took a screenshot of the exchange that included both boxers sharing their side of what went wrong when they were trying to agree to terms (warning: contains strong language):

After several years of rumors and speculation about a fight between arguably the two best boxers in the world, it looked like the match was finally going to happen.
ESPN's Mike Coppinger reported in September that both parties "agreed to all material terms for a fight for the undisputed welterweight championship" with a target date of Nov. 19 in Las Vegas.
Coppinger noted the contract was not signed because the lawyers for the two sides had to "clean up legal language" in the deal.
Two weeks after the agreement, Coppinger reported the fight was in jeopardy because of a "lingering dispute" related to money because Crawford was set to receive the smaller end of the payout.
"The issue: Crawford wants transparency related to event expenses since the contract contains no guaranteed purse, sources said," Coppinger wrote. "Since Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) will earn a percentage of the net revenue, he wants the ability to approve expenses, sources said."
In the tweetstorm between the two, Spence noted his team gave Crawford "everything" he asked for. Crawford responded later that Spence "knew the fight wasn't going to be this year" and went on vacation with his family.
With that fight not taking place, Crawford took a bout against David Avanesyan for the WBO welterweight title on Dec. 10 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Spence has been teasing an announcement coming soon. The Truth's most recent fight was a TKO victory over Yordenis Ugás to retain the WBC and IBF welterweight titles and win the WBA welterweight title on April 16.

Jake Paul Invites Nate Diaz to Join United Fighters Association With Anderson Silva

Hours after calling out the UFC legend, Jake Paul extended an olive branch to Nate Diaz.
Paul told Diaz on social media the door is open to join the MMA fighters' union he pledged to help launch with Anderson Silva:
Oh Nathan, coming into my dressing room before my fight? Throwing drinks like a pussy. Will settle this if u ever get out of your UFC contract.
Until then let’s change the game. I got big plans. I invite you to join Anderson & I to launch the United Fighters Association. In? https://t.co/nqIPjlgjBn
Based on what unfolded Saturday night, Diaz may not be all that keen on the idea.
Videos of a shouting match between members of Diaz's and Paul's entourage inside Desert Diamond Arena surfaced online. Following his unanimous decision over Silva, Paul also called Diaz a "b---h" and challenged him to a fight (warning: video contains profanity):
Leading up to Saturday's event, Paul made a bet with Silva that the former UFC middleweight champion would have to get involved with the fighters' union if he lost. Maybe he can place the same wager with Diaz if the two put their differences aside and come to terms for an in-ring encounter.
Anderson Silva on Jake Paul Loss: 'I Failed in the Strategy' but Won't Stop Fighting

Despite being 47 years old and losing his boxing match to Jake Paul on Saturday night, Anderson Silva isn't going to stop fighting.
Speaking to reporters after the bout, the Spider said he "can’t stop" competing.
As for what happened in the ring against Paul, Silva said he "failed in the strategy" because his "base was not correct" allowing his opponent to land a big punch en route to a unanimous-decision loss.
All three judges scored the eight-round fight in Paul's favor (78-73, 78-73, 77-74).
"I failed my mission, and I’m back to home, training better, and trying to make the strategy correct in the next time," Silva said.
Even though the scorecards make it look like it was a one-sided contest, Silva fared well against an opponent 22 years younger than him. He landed more total punches than Paul in Ro.unds 2 (7-6), 5 (18-8) and 6 (12-10), and he had a 66-51 advantage in power punches landed.
Silva is one of the most decorated mixed martial artists of all time. He holds the record for most successful middleweight title defenses in UFC history (10) and held the championship for more than six years from October 2006 to July 2013.
After losing to Uriah Hall in October 2020, Silva was released by UFC. He has transitioned to boxing, defeating Julio César Chávez Jr. and Tito Ortiz prior to his fight with Paul.
