Bowl Games 2022-23: Full Schedule and Predictions for College Football Playoff

There's already been plenty of great college football action for fans during the 2022-23 bowl season, with a lot more to come, but now it's nearing time for the most important games of the year: the College Football Playoff semifinals and championship game, which begins on Saturday.
Before No. 2 Michigan takes on No. 3 TCU and No. 4 Ohio State goes one-on-one with the defending champion and No. 1 Georgia, there are still a host of games on the bowl schedule to keep an eye on.
No. 6 Tennessee will play No. 7 Clemson, No. 19 South Carolina will meet No.21 Notre Dame, and No. 9 Kansas St. will take on last year's CFP runner-up Alabama.
All told, there are 10 non-playoff bowl games for fans to use as an appetizer before the CFP final four take the field.
Here's a quick look at the remaining bowl schedule, as well as odds and predictions for those games and the College Football Playoff.

When it comes to college athletics, the Cinderella designation probably gets thrown around more than it should, but this year, that term definitely describes TCU.
And while the Horned Frogs have certainly made their case to be in the CFP, it isn't often that a program like theirs gets into the final four.
That said, TCU was a fixture in the top 4 on the AP Top 25 for most of the season, so no one is exactly surprised that they got the nod, but there are still big implications not only on their participation, but on the eventuality that they could defy all the odds and actually win.
Vegas already has the Horned Frogs losing to Michigan in the Fiesta Bowl, but they are no pushover in this historic CFP.
The Wolverines were led most of the year by standout running back Blake Corum, but when he went down with an injury, they kept going and have a legitimate shot at winning the whole thing.
For the Peach Bowl, Ohio State, a team that was on the outside looking in last year playing in the Rose Bowl, got in by the skin of its teeth after USC was upset by Utah in the Pac-12 Championship Game by a 23-point margin.
Don't tell Buckeyes fans that their team isn't worthy of the CFP, though.
They're led by a Heisman Trophy finalist in C.J. Stroud, who leads an explosive offense that should give the highly-favored Georgia all it can handle.
But as good as Ohio State's offense is, the Bulldogs have their own Heisman finalist quarterback that's an efficient game manager in Stetson Bennett III.
Georgia is the reigning champ and they haven't lost a game since hoisting the trophy last season, so the Buckeyes will have to play an excellent game on both sides of the ball to pull off the upset.
The oddsmakers have the Bulldogs taking on the Wolverines in the championship game, and it's looking like that will be the matchup.
Head coach Jim Harbaugh has brought unprecedented excitement to Ann Arbor, but Georgia looks to be unstoppable this year and likely won't take its foot off the gas until they accomplish that ever elusive repeat.
