Week 10 of the 2022 NFL season got underway Thursday night when the Carolina Panthers defeated the Atlanta Falcons in an NFC South clash. Things will pick back up Sunday, and there's going to be a large slate of games throughout the day.

The Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be facing off in Munich, Germany, then there will be seven early games and three late games in the afternoon windows. The action will conclude with a Sunday night matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and San Francisco 49ers. And the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles will go head-to-head on Monday night.

With so many teams in action (only four are on byes), there will be some tough start/sit decisions to make for fantasy football managers. Plus, there are only five weeks remaining in the regular season in most leagues. So it's getting to be crunch time in the battle for fantasy playoff berths.

So here's some lineup advice for the upcoming Week 10 action to help decide who to start and who to leave on the bench this week.

Start 'Em: Antonio Gibson, RB, Washington Commanders

Antonio Gibson's production has been inconsistent this season, as he's been splitting the workload out of the backfield with fellow running backs Brian Robinson and J.D. McKissic. Gibson hasn't been much of a factor in the ground game, as the 24-year-old hasn't had more than 59 rushing yards in a game.

However, Gibson has had an increased role in the passing game. He's scored two receiving touchdowns over the past three weeks, and he's had 12 catches over that span. It's not a surprise that he's thriving in the role, considering he was a wide receiver during his college career at Memphis.

McKissic, who has been Washington's top receiving back in recent years, is dealing with a neck injury that could cause him to miss Monday night's game in Philadelphia. If that's the case, Gibson will again be in line for more receiving work.

There's a good chance the Commanders will be playing from behind, which will lead to them passing more frequently. So even though the Eagles have a good defense, Gibson is still a solid starting option for fantasy lineups given how he'll likely be utilized.

Sit 'Em: Devin Singletary, RB, Buffalo Bills

In late October, Devin Singletary was becoming a viable fantasy option at running back. The Bills running back had 107 total yards in a Week 6 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He also had 83 total yards in a Week 8 victory vs. the Green Bay Packers.

But Singletary has scored only one touchdown this season, and that was back in Week 3. Plus, there are still times he doesn't get ample opportunities to be a solid fantasy performer. For example, he had only eight carries for 24 yards and four catches for 24 yards in Buffalo's Week 9 loss to the New York Jets.

This week, the Bills are hosting the Minnesota Vikings, who are giving up the seventh-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season, per NFL.com. So it's not a great matchup for Buffalo's rushing attack. And if for some reason Bills quarterback Josh Allen (right elbow injury) can't play, the Vikings will be able to focus even more on stopping the ground game.

Singletary can only be trusted in fantasy lineups with great matchups, and this isn't one. So find a better starting option for the RB and flex spots in Week 10.

Start 'Em: Chris Godwin, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It's been a disappointing season thus far for Chris Godwin. Through nine weeks, the Buccaneers wide receiver has yet to get into the end zone. And he's had more than 75 yards in a game only once, with a season-high of 95.

But the 26-year-old has remained involved in Tampa Bay's offense. Godwin recorded at least six catches in each of the past six weeks. Plus, he's been targeted 10 or more times in five of those contests, including each of the past four.

So Godwin could be on the verge of a breakout performance, like the ones fantasy managers got from him quite often in recent seasons. On Sunday, the Bucs are taking on the Seattle Seahawks in Munich, Germany, and it may be a good opportunity for Godwin to put up some better numbers.

This game will likely be a competitive matchup, and Tampa Bay may need to stay aggressive on offense for the entirety of it. Don't be surprised if Godwin finally scores a touchdown and plays a key role in helping the Buccaneers have more success than they've had for much of the year to this point.

Sit 'Em: Robert Tonyan, TE, Green Bay Packers

Coming off a torn ACL that ended his 2021 season, Robert Tonyan got off to a slow start in 2022. But after a few weeks, the 28-year-old tight end started to perform much better. He scored a touchdown in the Packers' Week 4 win over the New England Patriots, and he had 10 catches for 90 yards in a Week 6 loss to the New York Jets.

In recent weeks, though, Tonyan hasn't put up those types of numbers. He hasn't had more than 35 yards in any of his past three games, and he had only three catches for 29 yards in a Week 9 loss to the Detroit Lions. Plus, his Week 4 TD remains his only trip to the end zone this year.

Tonyan now faces a difficult matchup in Week 10, when Green Bay hosts the Dallas Cowboys. As Jamey Eisenberg of CBS Sports noted, the Cowboys have allowed only one touchdown to tight ends all season (the Chicago Bears' Cole Kmet in Week 8).

It's been tough to rely on Tonyan in fantasy lineups because of his inconsistency. And it seems unlikely this will be a week in which he can be trusted. In fact, Tonyan isn't a great starting option at all moving forward, unless he starts to be more productive.
