Technical prowess meets raw power when Calvin Kattar meets Josh Emmett in the main event of UFC on ESPN 37 from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

Kattar has established himself as one of the top fighters in the featherweight division. The Boston Finisher hasn't exactly lived up to his moniker, but he's been piling up the wins against the likes of Giga Chikadze, Dan Ige and Jeremy Stephens.

Emmett has started to build his own reputation in the weight class. He is on a four-fight win streak, with the latest coming against Ige and Shane Burgos.

The co-main event might not have the same stakes, but it is a fun matchup between veterans in Donald Cerrone and Joe Lauzon.

Here's a look at the whole card as well as a closer look at the night's biggest donnybrooks.

As far as Fight Night cards go, this main event is as good as it gets. Both Kattar and Emmett are making some headway in the division and both fight exciting styles.

Kattar is all about the volume. His boxing has been the primary factor in his recent success. He recently derailed the Giga Chikadze hype train by simply outclassing him on the feet. Max Holloway took Kattar to school, but that's a whole other level of striking.

Emmett doesn't have the same ability to carry round after round with his range. He does, however, have a right hand that can detonate at any time and put an opponent away.

Despite the long odds, the 37-year-old only has two losses on his record. The problem is those losses have come against Jeremy Stephens and Desmond Green.

Kattar is a lot better than both of them. Emmett is no stranger to upsets. He wasn't supposed to beat Ricardo Lamas, Burgos or Bektic. Yet he won all three and knocked out Lamas and Bektic.

Still, if this fight happened 10 times, Kattar would win the majority of them. He simply has more paths to victory and a more consistent output. A bomb from Emmett could change everything, but that's not the prediction.

Prediction: Kattar via decision

Cerrone vs. Lauzon

This is one of those matchups where it's hard to believe it took this long to happen.

Joe Lauzon made his UFC debut in 2006 and has made the walk to the Octagon 27 times, never leaving the organization in that timespan. Cerrone debuted in 2011 after the WEC merged with the UFC and has fought under the banner 37 times.

Yet the two have never crossed paths.

It's a little late to see what these two would have done in their primes, but they can still put on a fun, nostalgic fight here.

The start of the fight will be key. Lauzon is not necessarily an explosive athlete, but he is a dangerous submission artist, and Cerrone doesn't always start strong. If Lauzon can cause a scramble and latch on to a hold, this could be over early.

However, Lauzon's striking is not up to Cerrone's. Even this version of Cerrone still has strong kicks that can control the distance and make it difficult for Lauzon to close in.

As long as Cerrone fends off early takedowns, he should be able to get his first win in seven tries.

Prediction: Cerrone via decision

Holland vs. Means

Speaking of Donald Cerrone, Kevin Holland is well on his way to becoming this era's version of Cowboy.

He's an entertaining fighter with the potential to at least get on the cusp of a title shot. He keeps a ridiculously busy schedule and has a clear kryptonite when it comes to opponents who are committed to taking him down.

Holland is an exciting fighter who knows how to use his reach to his advantage. However, be's been completely neutralized when tasked with beating a wrestler.

That's not something he's going to have to worry about with Tim Means on the other side of the cage. Means is a striker who will rely on the clinch but isn't necessarily going to hunt the takedown.

It's a fun welterweight matchup that should feature some good striking exchanges and some trash talk from Holland.

He's in line to back it up and have a fun night, though. Holland has proved his accuracy and striking acumen are enough to beat mid-tier fighters if they don't have the wrestling to put him on his back.

Prediction: Holland via second-round TKO
