Week 15 Waiver Wire Pickups: Sleepers Available in Majority of Fantasy Leagues
Week 15 Waiver Wire Pickups: Sleepers Available in Majority of Fantasy Leagues

Even with the fantasy football playoffs underway in most leagues, it's still wise to keep an eye on the waiver wire. After all, there will be two more weeks of matchups for most managers who make it to championship games, so it's important to keep adding depth.
Maybe you need a backup starting option for Week 15. Or perhaps you're already looking ahead at the matchups for Weeks 16 and 17. There are usable players available in many leagues, and stashing them is worthwhile in case of injuries.
Here's a look at several players available in a large number of leagues who you may want to add to your roster heading into the bulk of the Week 15 action this weekend.
Chuba Hubbard, RB, Carolina Panthers

The Panthers have a run-first offense in which they get multiple backs involved. That was the case in their Week 14 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, during which D'Onta Foreman had 21 carries for 74 yards, and Chuba Hubbard had 14 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown. Rookie Raheem Blackshear also had 32 rushing yards and a score.
While Foreman has the most fantasy value moving forward, Hubbard is worthy of flex consideration because of his recent high volume. The 23-year-old has 31 total carries over his past two games, and he's been productive.
The Panthers will host the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions over the next two weeks. Neither has been great at stopping the run, so there's a decent chance that both Foreman and Hubbard will continue to fare well out of Carolina's backfield.
Fantasy managers should still rely on bell-cow RBs when possible, but there aren't any of those on the waiver wire. So, if you need a running back to plug into your lineup, Hubbard is among the best widely available options.
Jahan Dotson, WR, Washington Commanders

Jahan Dotson has been the clear No. 3 wide receiver on Washington's offense since returning from a hamstring injury a month ago. Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel have had better connections with Taylor Heinicke.
But Dotson's Week 13 performance was an encouraging sign that he could be getting more involved, like he was early in the year when Carson Wentz was under center. Dotson had five catches for 54 yards and a touchdown, his first since scoring four from Weeks 1-4. The rookie was also targeted a season-high nine times in Washington's tie with the New York Giants.
After a Week 14 bye, the Commanders return to action by playing the Giants again on Sunday night. It could be a great opportunity for Dotson to pick right back up where he left off and have another solid showing.
If that happens, fantasy managers may be able to have greater trust in the Penn State product in Weeks 16 and 17. So pick up Dotson now, and see what happens this week before trusting him as a starter.
Jameson Williams, WR, Detroit Lions

Over the past two weeks, Jameson Williams has played only 21 offensive snaps for the Lions. The 21-year-old rookie wide receiver hadn't played up to that point while recovering from a torn ACL he suffered at the end of his college career at Alabama.
Williams has only touched the ball once during his first two games, but that resulted in a 41-yard touchdown catch in Detroit's Week 14 win over the Minnesota Vikings. That's the type of big-play potential he frequently displayed during his time with the Crimson Tide, which is why the Lions selected him with the No. 12 overall pick in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft.
Williams' time on the field should increase as he gets more comfortable at the pro level and in Detroit's offense. Will he get involved enough to be fantasy-relevant within the next few weeks? That isn't quite clear at this point.
But if you have an extra spot on the bench, it's worth taking a flier on Williams and stashing him for the next week or two. If his playing time keeps going up, he could be a sleeper receiver to start late in the fantasy season.
