The fantasy football landscape is constantly changing. New leagues form, others bring in new managers because of expansion or replacing people who quit. And as for the pool of NFL players, each year a rookie class is added to the mix.

That's among the reasons why fantasy managers need to prepare and research heading into a season. Commissioners also need to put in work to ensure that it will be a successful year for the league.

With the 2022 season a little more than a month away, fantasy football preparations are ramping up. Before we know it, another NFL campaign will be kicking off.

Here are some funny league and team names to consider for the 2022 season. Then, we'll break down the top rookies to target in drafts this year.

It's always valuable to draft running backs who are expected to get substantial time on the field. Not every NFL team has a workhorse RB who will play all three downs, as there are plenty who opt to go with a committee approach.

Neither Hall nor Walker are likely to be bell-cow backs in 2022, but they should contribute for their respective teams. And that makes them two of the best rookies to target in fantasy drafts heading into this season.

Hall, a second-round pick out of Iowa State, should quickly factor into the Jets' backfield picture. Michael Carter is back for his second season, while veteran Tevin Coleman also remains in the mix. But Hall has an exciting skill set that should land him a decent number of touches per game, especially as he starts to prove himself.

The Seahawks' RB depth chart took a hit when Chris Carson decided to retire. But with that move comes opportunities for others in Seattle, such as Walker and Rashaad Penny.

Walker, a second-round pick out of Michigan State, had a tremendous 2021 season for the Spartans. It's easy to see how his game could lead to him having success in the NFL, especially with Seattle potentially operating as a run-first offense this year.

There are a lot of talented wide receivers in this year's rookie class, and a bunch of them could end up being breakout fantasy starts in 2022. But London and Burks have the best opportunities to contribute immediately.

In Atlanta, London could be the No. 1 wide receiver in a group that also features Bryan Edwards and Olamide Zaccheaus. Meanwhile, Tennessee lost both A.J. Brown and Julio Jones since last season, so Burks could quickly become a top target for quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
