High Stakes For WWE's Latest Mystery Reveal, Alexa Bliss Needs Reboot, More Raw Takes

Monday Night Raw has begun a major push toward WWE Extreme Rules. During the September 19 edition of the red brand, multiple matches were announced, while other stars hinted at big stories to come.
A strange QR code popped up during Raw that led fans toward a "white rabbit." Based on the final numbers left in the message, there will be more to come on SmackDown. If anyone is poised to fit these hints, it is Bray Wyatt.
Bobby Lashley conquered another top challenger in Seth Rollins, but it was only because Matt Riddle got involved. The All Mighty has benefited too much from other stories and needs to find his own as WWE United States champion.
Alexa Bliss ended the show in a match against Bayley. She lost, and Damage CTRL once again stood tall. While The Role Model pushed forward to challenge Bianca Belair, The Goddess was once again left without a clear character.
Triple H made a major announcement with the return of WarGames at WWE Survivor Series. On Raw, WWE also brought back Fight Pit for Extreme Rules as part of the Seth Rollins vs. Matt Riddle feud. Hopefully, more fresh stipulations are on the horizon.
It was a wild night that set the stage for major evolution to come and major premium live events in the coming months.
WWE's Latest Mystery Return Will Be the Most Important Yet
Many major names have returned to WWE in recent months, but the latest teases have a completely different air. The company is putting a creative focus behind the hints, particularly using Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit."
While it has not been confirmed, the best bet is that Bray Wyatt will be making his long-awaited return. He remains the biggest free agent on the market WWE could target.
If The Fiend, or one of Wyatt's other personas, comes back, that adds a major star to the roster. Wyatt has proved repeatedly that he can make riddles into compelling stories. That will not change.
The Fiend can compete with anyone. As long as the new regime led creatively by Triple H protects Wyatt, he can consistently add a major angle to either Raw or SmackDown.
However, if Wyatt is not the subject behind all of this, WWE would need to bring in a serious name who can live up to the hype. That is a tall order for most talents on the roster or outside of it.
Bobby Lashley Needs a Serious Rival Now

Bobby Lashley continues to have the match of the night every time he defends the WWE United States Championship on Monday Night Raw.
However, good matches alone do not define a great championship reign. In order to make The All Mighty's run his best yet, he needs to tell stories in the ring and on the mic with a capable opponent.
The red brand has multiple interesting rivals for Lashley. WWE just needs to commit to one that can push him for at least a couple months.
Finn Balor or Damian Priest make sense as The Judgment Day turns toward gold. Alpha Academy could provide worthy challengers as both Chad Gable and Otis can push Lashley Robert Roode or Veer Mahaan could be reintroduced by challenging Lashley.
If WWE is willing to commit to a face vs. face match, Kevin Owens or Johnny Gargano stand out as men that will push the champion. Add in the SmackDown roster, and the options only grow more. All it will take is a clear commitment.
Return of WarGames and Fight Pit Will Help Revitalize Match Gimmicks in WWE
WWE has devalued key match types over the years through overuse. TLC and Hell in a Cell became premium live events, requiring yearly matches that had limited build.
Triple H has set up a new focus for stipulation matches, beginning with bringing up two NXT stipulations to the main roster. Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle will face off in a Fight Pit match while WWE Survivor Series will focus on two WarGames matches.
All three of these matches will center on rivalries built over months and stand out due to the limited use of the stipulations in the past. As WWE uses more unique match types, other stipulations can be kept for important moments while making sure each show is important.
WarGames does not always have to happen at Survivor Series. Fight Pit can be saved for serious grudge matches, hopefully once a year at most.
Meanwhile, Hell in a Cell and TLC do not need their own premium live events for the future. Even Elimination Chamber can be used more sparingly. These are spots that can be saved for the right moment each year.
Alexa Bliss Needs a Complete Character Reboot
Alexa Bliss main-evented Raw in a singles match for the first time in years, yet she came off completely out of place.
The Goddess was one of WWE's top women for several years, and she is arguably a more complete performer now than she was before.
However, she is stuck in a state of flux. She carries remnants of her old gimmicks without much character left. It is time to make a change.
WWE knows this based on the narrative commentary highlighted during her match with Bayley. Bliss cannot just become The Goddess or the best friend of Lily again.
She needs to find a sustainable fresh gimmick. She should be able to stand up to multiple interesting personas in the women's division including Rhea Ripley and Damage CTRL, who have reinvented themselves recently.
