Browns Players Who Should be on the Trade Block After Week 3
Browns Players Who Should be on the Trade Block After Week 3

The Cleveland Browns have defined roles for all of their offensive stars three games into the 2022 NFL season.
The high production rate from the likes of Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt and Amari Cooper left some players on the outside looking in at offensive snaps.
D'Ernest Johnson and Anthony Schwartz do not appear to be in the team's immediate offensive plans, and that could put both players on the trade block.
The pair of offensive skill position players may have value on the trade market if injuries continue to take down depth across the league at their respective positions.
The defensive situation is not as stark when it comes to snap counts, but Ronnie Harrison is not on the field as much as John Johnson III and Grant Delpit at safety.
If Harrison is not needed that much on defense, the Browns could look to try to get something for him on the trade market before he becomes a free agent this offseason.
D'Ernest Johnson

D'Ernest Johnson resides in one of the toughest offensive situations in the NFL.
The 26-year-old is the third-string running back behind Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, and he rarely sees the field when the two players are healthy.
Johnson did not play any offensive snaps in the Week 3 clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers. That seems like an obvious stat with Chubb and Hunt splitting time.
The Browns have no use for Johnson if their top two ball carriers remain healthy for the remainder of the season.
Johnson proved he could be a serviceable backup last season, as he recorded 534 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 100 carries.
A handful of teams with running back depth issues could call up the Browns and offer a Day 2 or Day 3 NFL draft pick in exchange for Johnson.
It would be wise for the Browns to explore a Johnson trade so that they can get something for him and the player has a shot at consistent snaps.
Anthony Schwartz

Anthony Schwartz recorded 20 yards on two carries and one catch for 19 yards in Week 1.
He played 17 offensive snaps in the two games that followed.
The second-year wideout was significantly behind Amari Cooper. Donovan Peoples-Jones and David Bell on the snap-count chart. Tight ends David Njoku and Harrison Bryant were both on the field for much longer than Schwartz in Week 3.
The Week 3 snap count data suggests Schwartz will not be used by the Browns on many plays.
Bell surged past him on the snap count, and the reliance on the two tight ends is important to the success of the Browns offense.
Schwartz could be used here and there as a deep threat, but consistent snaps do not appear to be coming his way.
Cleveland could try to offload Schwartz for a late-round draft pick in case any other team wants to take a shot on the wide receiver and his fantastic speed.
Ronnie Harrison

Ronnie Harrison carries more value on the Browns roster than the two offensive players mentioned prior to him.
Harrison missed the Week 3 clash with the Steelers because of a hamstring injury. He is listed as questionable for the Week 4 trip to Atlanta.
The 25-year-old played 42 percent of the defensive snaps in Week 1, but that total dropped to 27 percent in Week 2.
Grant Delpit and John Johnson III are the starting safeties, and they were each on the field for 100 percent of the defensive snaps in Week 3.
Harrison is relegated to a reserve role in the secondary right now, but he could be a nice piece elsewhere if a team needs help at safety.
Cleveland would be walking a fine line if it dangled Harrison, or Johnson, out on the trade market. At the moment, neither player has a consistent path to playing time, but one injury at safety or running back could change how they are viewed on the depth chart.
