WWE Raw Results: Winners, Grades, Reaction and Highlights from November 22

This week's Raw was the fallout episode from Sunday's Survivor Series pay-per-view as well as the beginning of the buildup for day one on January 1.

Team Raw ended up taking the battle of the brands with five out of seven wins Sunday. The red brand won both elimination matches, RK-Bro beat The Usos, Becky Lynch triumphed over Charlotte Flair, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Damian Priest by disqualification and Omos won the 25-man Battle Royal.

We also saw a handful of segments devoted to a large ornate egg. It was one of the MacGuffins from The Rock's most recent movie, Red Notice, so it was a bit of cross-promotion to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his WWE debut. Unfortunately, The Great One did not attend the show.

Who stole the egg? How will the winners from Survivor Series capitalize on their momentum? Let's take a look at everything from Monday's Raw to find out.

Riddle vs. Dolph Ziggler

Raw opened with Vince McMahon talking to Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce about who might have stolen the egg last night. They had no clues other than some blurry surveillance tape.

We also saw Riddle and Randy Orton have a quick conversation backstage before The Bro took on Dolph Ziggler. It looks like Riddle is trying to be more like The Viper and dressed like him with a fake goatee.

They started off with a basic lockup and quickly upped the aggression. Ziggler eventually got the fake goatee off Riddle's face, but that just made The Bro angry. He grabbed Ziggler for a spinning gut-wrench suplex with several revolutions.

He tried to slingshot over the top rope onto The Showoff, but he ended up eating a superkick to the mouth on the way down. We returned from a break to see Riddle starting to build up a head of steam.

They traded punches as they got to their feet. Riddle blocked a superkick and hit a huge knee to the face. The Bro lined up and hit the RKO for the win.

Grade: B

Analysis

If you like Riddle and his brand of humor, some of this stuff probably made you laugh. Unfortunately, the person doing these grades does not find him funny in the slightest.

However, not liking someone's character will not stop this writer from acknowledging Riddle's physical ability. When the bell rings, he can bring it. Against a guy like Ziggler, there was almost zero chance of this match being bad.

Ziggler is a top seller in WWE, but we should also give Riddle credit for how he took the superkick he received after a slingshot out of the ring. This was a decent, energetic match to get the crowd hot for the rest of the show.

Bianca Belair vs. Tamina

Becky Lynch came out and gave a quick promo to reaffirm her role as a heel by saying the crowd may have cheered for her last night, but nobody would care if she didn't walk out of that ring unharmed. As usual, Big Time Becks delivered.

After a quick back-and-forth, Bianca Belair hit Tamina with a suplex to take control. Natalya watched as Belair hit a handspring moonsault for a quick two-count.

Tamina yanked her off the middle rope so she landed on her face. The powerhouse followed up with a Samoan drop for a near-fall.

Tamina hit the ring post when The EST avoided her, and it allowed Belair to hit the K.O.D. for the win.

Grade: C

Analysis

Tamina is a powerhouse veteran and Belair is one of the most talented performers to break out in recent years, but a lack of time to do anything special led to this being a short, somewhat uneventful match.

The real story came after it was over when Doudrop attacked Belair to cement her heel turn and make this feud official. She hit her running crossbody to leave The EST laying in the ring.

A feud between Doudrop and Belair could yield some fun matches if booked right. It won't take long before we see these two in the ring throwing hands.

Seth Rollins and Finn Balor Fight/The Street Profits vs. Omos and AJ Styles

Rollins was out after the break to talk about being the sole survivor on the men's Raw Survivor Series team. He claimed he did it all by himself because everyone else was eliminated. He trashed Kevin Owens for walking out on the team and Bobby Lashley for getting counted out. He was soon joined by Finn Balor, whom Sheamus had eliminated during the match.

Rollins and Balor were supposed to have a match, but they ended up brawling all around the ring before the ref could get them under control. Rollins gave him a Stomp before walking off.

Montez Ford and AJ Styles started for their teams when the next match got going. Ford quickly knocked Styles down with a shoulder tackle before Angelo Dawkins tagged in and did the same.

We returned from a break to see Styles in firm control of Dawkins. Ford tagged in, but he was unable to take control. He was able to backdrop Styles, but that just led to Omos tagging in.

Ford was ready for the fight, but when he threw himself at the big man, he hit a brick wall. He unloaded with strikes that had no impact before Omos took him out with one shot. He was preparing to finish off Ford when Dawkins got his team disqualified by spraying Omos with a fire extinguisher.

Grade: C+

Analysis

The brawl between Rollins and Balor was short but entertaining. This is a feud that will produce some awesome matches, so most fans are probably excited to see it pick up steam.

Putting Styles and Ford in the ring together is never a bad idea, but the way this tag match played out was not helpful to either team.

Omos didn't get another decisive win and the babyfaces had to resort to using a weapon. Who benefits from this segment? The little wrestling we saw was fine, but they weren't going to tear the house down with a script like this.

Carmella and Queen Zelina vs. Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. (Women's Tag Titles)

The WWE Women's Tag Team Championships were on the line when Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley defended the titles against Carmella and Queen Zelina. Mella put her special mask on while making Ripley wait for her to get ready.

Carmella turned around to see Ripley posied to hit a kick to the stomach. Ripley put her in the ring and hit a low dropkick before Mella rolled to her corner for a tag. The Queen was quickly thrown across the ring.

Zelina slapped Ripley, who responded with a headbutt. The Queen countered her into a DDT. Nikki tagged in, but the challengers were able to take control. Ripley had to save her partner, but a few seconds later, Zelina hit Nikki with the Code Red to win the tag titles for her and The Princess of Staten Island.

Grade: C+

Analysis

The Women's Tag Team Championships have never been treated seriously by WWE, so we shouldn't be shocked to see Ripley and Cross have their reign ended on a random Monday.

This bout was fine. All four Superstars did what they could, but with little to no storyline, it's hard to get the crowd invested in what is happening.

Carmella and Zelina as champions could be fun if they are allowed to have some real feuds, but with the division so thin right now, it's going to be an uphill battle.

Reggie vs. Cedric Alexander

The 24/7 title was up for grabs when Reggie took on Cedric Alexander. The former Cirque du Soleil star tried to use his signature aerial abilities to avoid Alexander but ended up taking a hard right hand to the face.

Alexander hit a big kick to the head followed by his finisher for the win to become the new 24/7 champion. Dana Brooke and several dudes ran to the ring.

Brooke ended up getting the pin on Alexander, and nobody was willing to go after her once she had the belt. They all watched as she held the belt up high in celebration.

Grade: Incomplete

Analysis

There is nothing redeeming about the 24/7 title at this point. R-Truth was hilarious at first, but these quick bouts and segments are just filler at this point.

However, there was something nice about seeing Brooke look so happy after winning the belt.

Bobby Lashley vs. Rey and Dom Mysterio

This handicap match got started with Dominik Mysterio taking on Bobby Lashley. After The All Mighty easily took control, Dom tagged in his dad so they could team up on the powerhouse.

They kept Lashley cornered for a little while with quick tags, but Lashley eventually worked his way out and hit Rey with a running powerslam. He prepared to apply the Hurt Lock, but Dom saved his dad with a springboard dropkick.

Lashley picked him up, but Rey took the big man down to save his son a moment later. We returned from a break to see Lashley dominating Dominik.

The Mysterios started using tags and double-team moves to get the upper hand and eventually hit a double 619. Dom and Rey hit frog splashes and made a double cover, but The All Mighty kicked out at the last second.

Lashley was able to regroup and get the win with the Hurt Lock on Dom.

Grade: B-

Analysis

Handicap matches can be tricky because the team will either handily defeat its opponent or the solo star will destroy everyone. This one ended up being more competitive but still believable because Lashley is good enough to take on two men at once but not so big that it's a walk in the park.

Dom has improved quite a bit since debuting with WWE. His mic work is still developing, but his in-ring work alongside his father has allowed him to shine.

This match was decent but a little slow in some sections. Cruiserweights always work best when using a quick pace and we know Lashley can keep up, so this could have been more exciting under the right circumstances.

Damian Priest vs. Apollo Crews

Damian Priest held an open challenge for the U.S. title that was answered by Apollo Crews. Sami Zayn came out and complained about being robbed of a WWE title match. He decided he wanted the U.S. title shot, and Crews was happy to give it to him for some reason.

Zayn rolled out of the ring after the bell, but Priest chased him right away. He beat Zayn around at ringside. After a quick break, we returned to see Priest unloading on Zayn with strikes from every hand and foot.

Zayn popped him up for a Blue Thunder Bomb for a close two-count. Priest almost hit his finisher, but Zayn countered with a roll-up for a near-fall. He rolled out of the ring and hung Priest up on the top rope.

Priest was able to regain control and hit his finisher to get the win and retain his title.

Grade: B+

Analysis

Why would Crews come out but not accept the open challenge? How does that help him in any way? It may have reminded people he is on Raw, but that was all it accomplished.

The match between Priest and Zayn ended up being good. They were aggressive and seemed to have good chemistry. This is a combination WWE should go back to at some point.

Big E vs. Austin Theory (WWE Championship)

After it was revealed that Austin Theory had stolen the egg, McMahon decided to reward him with a WWE title opportunity. If that doesn't make sense to you, you're not alone.

Before the match started, Seth Rollins made an appearance to watch from ringside since he also had a future guaranteed shot at the WWE title. He looked happy despite being attacked by a fan earlier in the show.

Theory rolled Big E up early for a one-count and then made the mistake of slapping the champ in the face. This led to Big E demolishing him with a flurry of strikes. He pulled Theory out to the apron and hit clubbing blows to the chest before hitting a splash.

Owens decided to show up at this point and taunted the champ from the aisle. Theory took advantage of the distraction and hit a nice modified suplex for a one-count.

We returned from a break to see Theory plant Big E with a DDT for a one-count. Big E turned things around and hit a running splash, but Theory countered the Big Ending and hit a dropkick for a near-fall.

Rollins attacked the leg of Big E while the ref was distracted. KO threw Rollins into the ring and they got into an argument. While Theory watched, Big E hit him with his finisher for the win.

Grade: B+

Analysis

Theory did well against Big E, but there was no way he was leaving with the WWE title. This match was about setting up Rollins and Owens as potential challengers in the near future.

Big E continues to shine in his role as a top star. Whether he is joking around, being serious, selling for his opponents or running dudes over, he delivers.

This week's Raw was very uneven across the board. The egg stuff was weird, most of the matches were average but forgettable, and the women's tag title change seemed hastily booked.
