WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 Match-Card Predictions After Clash of Champions, Raw

WWE Clash of Champions only saw one title change hands, when Sami Zayn defeated Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles for the Intercontinental Championship.

That means we are likely going into Hell in a Cell on October 25 with almost all of the same champions. Since many of the bouts at The Clash were rematches, WWE needs to start shaking things up.

Luckily, the next WWE Draft has been announced for the October 9 episode of SmackDown and the October 12 episode of Raw.

While some people need to change brands to freshen things up, there are a few storylines WWE needs to resolve, so we can expect certain people to remain on the same brand.

Let's look at some of the most likely matches to be booked for Hell in a Cell 2020. 

Bayley brutally attacked Sasha Banks on the September 4 episode of SmackDown and again the following week. The Boss returned Sunday to seek vengeance.

After it was revealed that Nikki Cross would be unable to compete, Asuka ended up taking her place in the SmackDown Women's Championship match.

Banks interfered and went after Bayley with the same steel chair The Role Model has been carrying around for the past few weeks. She took off her neck brace to show she was healthy and back for revenge.

The only reasonable thing for WWE to do would be to book them inside Hell in a Cell. The stipulation would allow the bitter rivals to do whatever they wanted without fear of being disqualified. 

Even if Banks ends up on Raw during the draft, WWE needs to make this match happen. They have been building the feud for too long to have it end before it really gets going. 

Monday's Raw featured a segment with the Mysterio family. Seth Rollins appeared on the big screen and revealed text messages between Murphy and Rey Mysterio's daughter, Aalyah.

This angered The Juggernaut, and it appeared that he was about to come to blows with Rollins until Dominik attacked Murphy backstage.

Aalyah tried to talk Dom out of attacking Murphy with a kendo stick during the match they had later in the show, which could lead to the reveal that she has been seeing Murphy behind her family's back.

If that is the case, The Monday Night Messiah and The Juggernaut are going to end up as rivals within a week or two, which would perfectly set up a match for Hell in a Cell.

It's about time Murphy got out from under Rollins' control, and aligning with one or more Mysterios is the best way to advance the storyline. Even though he has helped Rollins in the past, Rey and Dom might be willing to forgive him for the sake of Aalyah. 

At the end of this week's Raw, Randy Orton took out his anger on the legends who cost him the WWE title at Clash of Champions by attacking them with a chair.

Christian, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels are all retired, but one man who is still capable of suiting up when the need arises is Big Show.

Having Drew McIntyre defend the title against Orton at another PPV would be a mistake. The Viper needs someone else to go after, and Big Show is another legend he can mark off his list.

It is unlikely they would be the Hell in a Cell stipulation, but it would help. Orton is in need of a big win, and beating Big Show inside HIAC would be a step in the right direction, even if Big Show hasn't had a major victory in quite some time. 

Along with Cross, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler were unable to compete at Clash of Champions. WWE has been quiet on the exact reason why, but since they weren't stripped of the titles, it might be safe to assume they will be able to return by HIAC.

Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke defeated Natalya and Lana on Raw, and Adam Pearce implied the winners would be in line for a title shot.

The Riott Squad is also waiting to get the shot they were promised at The Clash, so the best option would be to turn this into a Triple Threat match.

The women's tag team division needs to be built back up again, and these three teams could help make up the foundation. It's sad that we lost The IIconics, but there are plenty of options to fill the void they left. 

The feud between Kevin Owens and Aleister Black continued this week when they met for a match on Raw, but an errant kick from Black caught the referee below the belt and he was forced to call for a DQ.

KO hit Black with a Stunner, but that is not enough to end what has become a personal feud. They need a PPV match to settle the score.

With what we have seen and what we know they are capable of, The Dutch Destroyer and The Prize Fighter could steal the show with or without the HIAC stipulation.

As long as neither of them is drafted to SmackDown, this is one of the safest predictions. WWE has been building this storyline for a few weeks, and it could become one of the most vicious feuds on the card. 

If WWE wants Retribution to be a success, the group needs to get a big win under its belt. Beating Bobby Lashley, MVP and Shelton Benjamin inside Hell in a Cell would do the trick.

Retribution hasn't been booked as well as some people would like, but Mace and T-Bar have been blowing up social media with some of their recent posts on Twitter.

WWE needs to let them continue owning people online while it thinks about a new way to book them. Just causing chaos on a regular basis isn't enough. They need to win some matches.

Unfortunately, this leaves Apollo Crews, Mustafa Ali and Ricochet out of the equation. Adding them would make for some entertaining spots, but it would be better if it was just The Hurt Business vs. Retribution for the time being, especially if Retribution walks out with the win.
