WWE NXT 2.0 Roadblock Results: Winners, Grades, Reaction and Highlights
WWE NXT 2.0 Roadblock Results: Winners, Grades, Reaction and Highlights

On the road to Stand & Deliver during Wrestlemania 38 weekend, NXT 2.0 stopped at Roadblock for a show that included major title matches and the end of a long-running rivalry.
Dolph Ziggler goaded Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa into giving him an NXT Championship shot in a Triple Threat match in which he could pin The Blackheart to win the title. This match had the makings of an early 2022 classic.
The Creed Brothers won the 2022 men's Dusty Tag Team Classic to earn a shot at Imperium for the NXT Tag Team Championships. Diamond Mine's dangerous duo would cash in that chance on Tuesday night.
After months of taunting and sneak attacks, LA Knight was done playing by Grayson Waller's rules and demanded a Last Man Standing match against the loudmouth heel.
The women's Dusty Classic continued to heat up with its two semifinals. Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray would battle the long-time team of Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro, while Raquel Gonzalez and Cora Jade would work together against the odd pairing of Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo.
This show had potential to truly get NXT 2.0 going in the most important season in WWE. Every win had a chance to change the complexion of WrestleMania weekend.
Women's Dusty Classic: Raquel Gonzalez & Cora Jade vs. Dakota Kai & Wendy Choo
Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo isolated Cora Jade in their corner, beating her down while keeping Raquel Gonzalez out of the action.
Toxic Attraction attacked Big Mami Cool behind the referee's back, bashing her left knee into the steel post to ensure she could not help her partner.
Jade fought back against Choo, laying her out in the corner. Kai tagged in and took a hard hit that allowed Gonzalez to tag in. While she fought hard, she was limping through the action. The Captain of Team Kick hit a backstabber and went for the Kaio Kick.
However, Kai hesitated. She took an awkward Chingona Bomb that did not land flush due to Gonzalez's injury. Kai ended up hitting her second attempt at the Kaio Kick. Choo hit a Vader Bomb followed by a double foot stomp from Kai to win.
Big Mami Cool was helped to the trainer's room afterward.
Result
Kai and Choo def. Gonzalez and Jade by pinfall to advance to the finals of the women's Dusty Classic.
Grade
B
Analysis
This was a surprising result from a fine match. Due to the Toxic Attraction attack, Gonzalez never really got to do much here. This left the focus on Jade vs. Choo, which showed off two interesting performers still learning their craft.
Kai and Choo have an interesting dynamic but not one that needed to dominate the women's Dusty Classic. The Captain of Team Kick is not quite selling this odd new gimmick, as it does not feel like something she should have to sell. She was a good wrestler with a good gimmick before.
Tiffany Stratton vs. Fallon Henley

Fallon Henley was unimpressed by Tiffany Stratton early on, and she sent Daddy's Little Girl reeling with physical offense.
Stratton responded with a Samoan drop, but she was caught from behind with a kick from Sarray. Henley then hit a Shining Wizard to win.
Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen lifted Henley in victory afterward. Briggs and Jensen accused Legado del Fantasma of attacking The Creed Brothers, but the group laughed at that idea before leaving.
Later in the night, Stratton promised to break Sarray's face next week.
Result
Henley def. Stratton by pinfall.
Grade
D+
Analysis
Stratton remains a work in progress, so her matches will not stand out. Henley looked better throughout. It was still a surprise when she won, but hopefully it is a sign that she will get a serious opportunity in the women's division beyond helping Briggs and Jensen.
Previously, Sarray has been set up as the quintessential babyface, yet she did not just distract Stratton. She also cheap-shotted her rival after just one backstage conflict, which seemed very out of character.
Last Man Standing: LA Knight vs. Grayson Waller
Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams talked from the barber shop about his plan for Stand & Deliver on April 2 where the former wants to prove he is the greatest by defeating four men in a ladder match.
LA Knight caught Grayson Waller at the entrance way and the two brawled all the way to the ring. The Million Dollar Megastar nearly got the win off a superplex and BFT, but Waller escaped outside. Knight knocked Waller off the ramp and thought it was over.
Sanga saved his employer and got involved in the action. Knight responded by cuffing Sanga to the ring post. Waller thumbed Knight in the eye to escape the BFT and then went for the rolling cutter, but Knight caught him and sent him out of the ring through a table.
An angry Million Dollar Megastar caught Waller in a trash can and bashed him repeatedly with steel-chair shots, giving a few to Sanga as well.
Waller caught Knight with a blackjack and then hit a diving elbow drop through the announce table. He climbed Sanga while Knight could not get up, taking the win.
Result
Waller def. Knight by 10-count.
Grade
A-
Analysis
This was easily the best match between Knight and Waller. The two benefited from a more chaotic environment in which they could battle throughout the NXT 2.0 set. The camera did not always catch the best angles, but the pacing was consistent in a match type that can often be awkward.
It was the right move for the loudmouth to pull out the win. He is likely to stay in NXT 2.0 for a while, with Knight set to head for Raw after WrestleMania.
While Waller barely won, he won clean by the rules of the match.
Women's Dusty Classic: Io Shirai & Kay Lee Ray vs Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter

Nikkita Lyons joined Lash Legend on Lashing Out. The host called out her guest for only becoming relevant due to her looks, which caused a big argument.
Tony D'Angelo spent some time dining while promising to get his big moment at NXT Stand & Deliver.
The cohesive partnership and athletic speed of Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter was hard for Kay Lee Ray and Io Shirai to match. Meanwhile, Malik Blade and Edris Enofe found their way into the Toxic Attraction lounge with Mandy Rose.
Catanzaro and Carter hit an impressive elevated poisonrana for a near-fall that The Genius of the Sky broke up. Ray hit the KLR Bomb followed by the Over-the-Moonsault from Shirai on Catanzaro to win.
Cora Jade attacked Rose in the lounge until Blade and Enofe broke it up.
Result
Shirai and KLR def. Carter and Catanzaro by pinfall.
Grade
A-
Analysis
Catanzaro and Carter are the best women's tag team in WWE, but it's a shame they remain so underused. As the rare established team in a division that threw together multiple tandems at the last minute, the two should have had a better shot than they did.
However, much like on the main roster, NXT tends to prioritize individual talent over tag team cohesion. The match here was great, with four great Superstars in the ring working overtime. Shirai and KLR are great individual wrestlers, though they still have work to do as a team.
The Genius of the Sky and KLR seem the most likely at this point to win the women's Dusty Tag Team Classic. It would add one more accolade to the legacy of one the brand's greatest, Shirai, and set up an easy story for Stand & Deliver.
NXT Tag Team Championships: Imperium (c) vs. MSK
Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta argued backstage as Duke Hudson looked on. Indi challenged her friend to a match to decide who was truly better.
Cameras found The Creed Brothers laid out in the parking lot, but Imperium refused to admit to attacking them. MSK challenged Imperium to a match assuming the brothers could not go.
Imperium beat down Wes Lee and Nash Carter early, but MSK hit their stride and ran over Fabian Aichner and Marcel Bartel. The two teams seemed to be just getting going when Julius and Brutus Creed arrived. They attacked both teams and stood tall.
Result
Imperium vs. MSK goes to a no-contest; Imperium retain the NXT Tag Team Championships.
Grade
B-
Analysis
Imperium vs. MSK will be a money match with time. The two teams used the opportunity to show out, but this was a half-match. No matter who attacked Julius and Brutus, the story is building to a Triple Threat at Stand & Deliver.
This could have been a better and more complete match, but it made sense for it to work more as a preview for something greater.
NXT Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Tommaso Ciampa vs. Dolph Ziggler
Tommaso Ciampa cut an impassioned promo about his love for NXT 2.0 and his need to be the best. Bron Breakker explained how he has done the work every day to keep up with the veterans. Dolph Ziggler promised to mess up WrestleMania weekend.
The Blackheart came out swinging, but Breakker responded with a pair of clotheslines and a double suplex on both men. All three men took big shots at one another. Ziggler took advantage of his opponents' fatigue to finally take his shot, nearly getting the three off a Zig Zag on Ciampa.
Ciampa hit The Showoff with the Fairy Tale Ending for a near-fall of his own. Breakker hit Ziggler with the military press powerslam, but Robert Roode saved his partner.
Roode saved Breakker from a running knee by Ciampa, leaving The Blackheart to take a superkick from Ziggler before being counted out.
Result
Ziggler def. Ciampa and Breakker by pinfall to become the new NXT champion.
Grade
A
Analysis
This was one way to ensure fans pay attention to NXT.
Ziggler's win was a shock but a huge moment for the brand. He managed to manipulate his way into the perfect situation in which Roode could help him steal the NXT Championship from Breakker without pinning him.
This comes off as the full-circle invasion of NXT that The Showoff promised. He beat the best in NXT and took his first singles gold in years. He may not be on the WrestleMania card, but he's guaranteed to be at Stand & Deliver.
The contest was really good throughout and showed what Ziggler can do with both men. Breakker is likely to do everything in his power to reclaim the NXT title, and it's likely he will do it at Stand & Deliver no matter what Ciampa has to say about it.
