Georgia Football Recruiting 2022: Top Remaining 2022 Recruits, Class Predictions

Georgia finally ended its national championship drought last month with a win over Alabama in the College Football Playoff.
It was the Bulldogs' first title since the 1980 season and the result of head coach Kirby Smart's success on the recruiting trail in recent years.
Now, Georgia is looking to keep bringing in top talent to keep the program among the best in the country.
On Wednesday, the Bulldogs will look to add more top high school players on the annual national signing day. Their 2022 class is already off to a strong start, as they signed 24 players during the early signing period in mid-December and are currently ranked No. 3 in 247Sports' composite team rankings.
Here's a look at the top recruits who could sign with the Bulldogs, along with some predictions for how the recruiting cycle will end for the program.
Top Unsigned Recruits Considering Georgia

Shemar Stewart, 5-star DL, Monsignor Edward Pace High School (Miami Gardens, Fla.)
Finalists: Georgia, Miami, Texas A&M
Christen Miller, 4-star DL, Cedar Grove High School (Ellenwood, Ga.)
Finalists: Florida A&M, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon
EJ Lightsey, 3-star LB, Fitzgerald High School (Fitzgerald, Ga.)
Finalists: Georgia, South Carolina
Andrew Paul, 3-star RB, Parish Episcopal School (Dallas, Texas)
Finalists: Clemson, Georgia
Stewart Will Pick Texas A&M over Georgia

Shemar Stewart is among the top recruits in the 2022 class, as he's ranked No. 10 in the 247Sports composite rankings. And he's one of only three in the top 10 who didn't sign with a college program in December. On Wednesday, though, he'll sign with either Georgia, Miami or Texas A&M.
Although the 247Sports Crystal Ball has the Aggies as the clear favorite to land him, he visited the Bulldogs on Jan. 21 and made his final official visit with the Hurricanes this past Friday. So, it's possible he could end up at any of the three programs.
However, Texas A&M hasn't slowed its pursuit of Stewart, as it had two in-home visits with him last month. And if he signs with the Aggies, he will become the seventh 5-star player in their top-ranked 2022 class.
While it's possible Georgia could land Stewart, the prediction here is he'll sign with Texas A&M, which has been the expectation for some time.
Miller Will Be Top Unsigned Recruit to Choose Georgia

Georgia may not add any 5-star recruits on Wednesday, but it will still have an opportunity to bring in a 4-star player.
Christen Miller is considering the Bulldogs, and he's the No. 102 overall recruit and No. 14 defensive lineman in the 2022 class, according to 247Sports' composite rankings.
In addition to Georgia, he is considering four other schools: Florida A&M, Miami, Ohio State and Oregon. So there's still a lot of possibilities for where he could end up to begin his college career.
Miller's final official visit was to Miami this past weekend, but the 247Sports Crystal Ball has Georgia as the favorite to land him. Will the Hurricanes' late push be enough to keep him from joining the Bulldogs? Could he end up signing with neither and picking one of the other three?
While anything is possible heading into Wednesday, expect Miller to head to Georgia to become part of the next wave of talent that will likely keep the Bulldogs' defense among the best in the nation for several years to come.
Bulldogs Add at Least 1 More 3-Star Recruit

Georgia still has a few spots open in its 2022 recruiting class, and after winning a national title, it shouldn't be hard to find interested prospects. So, it should at least add one or two 3-star players to round out its class on Wednesday.
Linebacker EJ Lightsey and running back Andrew Paul are among the top 3-star recruits who have Georgia as one of their finalists. And it seems likely the Bulldogs will sign at least one of them, if not both.
Lightsey decommitted from Florida in December and took visits to Georgia and South Carolina last month. Although the Gamecocks were the last team to meet with him, the 247Sports Crystal Ball has the Bulldogs as the favorite to sign him.
Georgia should sign Lightsey and likely add another 3-star recruit, whether that's Paul or somebody else. The Bulldogs seem set for a top-three 2022 class, which will help them continue to be successful moving forward.
