Fantasy Basketball 2021: Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks for Friday's NBA Playoffs

The Milwaukee Bucks can't afford to go down two games to the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Milwaukee needs to make adjustments to deal with Trae Young's scoring output and support Giannis Antetokounmpo more in the points column.

The obvious call would be for Khris Middleton to contribute more across the board after a 6-of-23 performance in Game 1. Since Middleton is expected to see an increase in his scoring production, he could be the perfect piece to add alongside Antetokounmpo and Young in FanDuel's Friday single-game contest.

Middleton carries a lower salary than Jrue Holiday and John Collins, and he could be a solid second DFS option that allows you to roster two more players over $10,000.

Middleton's bad night from the field was one of the reasons why the Bucks failed to close out Game 1 on their home court.

The forward recorded his second-lowest single-game point total of the 2021 postseason. His lowest output came in Game 1 against the Brooklyn Nets.

Middleton only improved his total by four points from Game 1 to Game 2 versus Brooklyn, but he was much better from the three-point line, making three triples compared to none in the opener.

He attempted 23 field goals and nine three-point shots in Game 1, so you know the volume is there for a potentially high-scoring night.

He could be the best play of the second-tier stars in the matchup since he checks in at a $12,000 salary, which is lower than Holiday and Collins and only $500 more than Clint Capela.

Placing Middleton alongside Antetokounmpo or Young sets you up for a high point potential in the roster multiplier spots, and it allows you to play Brook Lopez, Capela and Kevin Huerter with some comfort.

Capela and Collins accounted for 34 of Atlanta's 51 rebounds in Game 1.

Both players finished with double-doubles. Collins had the higher point total of the duo with 23 points, which was second on the team behind Young.

Collins checks in at a $12,500 salary, and Capela sits at $11,500, both of which are reasonable numbers if you want to try to squeeze them in with one of the superstars and Middleton.

There is even a strategy that could see you roster Capela and Collins with Middleton behind a superstar. In that scenario, you would be taking a risk on P.J. Tucker, Bobby Portis, Pat Connaughton or Bryn Forbes.

It is not a bad idea since each of those four players could get hot. And they are the only ones who will see playing time around Antetokounmpo, Middleton, Holiday and Brook Lopez.

Forbes and Connaughton could be called upon since Atlanta struggled to deal with shooting guards in the past two rounds. Seth Curry was the Philadelphia 76ers second-best player in the semifinals, and Holiday posted 33 points in Game 1.

If you would rather choose between Collins and Capela, Collins is the pick because he scored more throughout the postseason. And if he remains the No. 2 scorer behind Young on the Hawks roster, he could be as valuable as Middleton in Friday's contest.

Bogdan Bogdanovic is a potentially intriguing play for the DFS contest.

The Atlanta small forward is listed at a $9,500, and if his knee is healthy enough, he could outplay any projections for a player at his salary.

Bogdanovic only attempted six field goals in Game 1, but he was on the floor for 27 minutes. If Collins' point production drops below 20 in Game 2, the Hawks need more support for Young, no matter how many points he scores.

In April, Bogdanovic lit up the Milwaukee defense for 60 points off 22 field-goal makes, 12 of which came from three-point range.

Bogdanovic knows which pockets of the Bucks defense to exploit, and he was counted on as the second scorer before he suffered his right knee injury in the Philadelphia series.

If he returns to form in Game 2, his salary and player props will likely jump in value, so Friday could be the perfect time to take a flier on him.
