Updated WWE WrestleMania 37 Match Card Ahead of PPV

WWE presents its most jam-packed pay-per-view card in over a year Saturday and Sunday with WrestleMania 37, a two-night extravaganza that will emanate live from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, headlined by championship encounters and intensely personal grudge matches.

One such grudge match is the battle between lifelong friends Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, which has all of the potential in the world to steal Night 2 of the spectacular.

Sheamus will seek to add to his Hall of Fame-worthy credentials when he challenges Riddle for the United States Championship, also on Sunday's slate.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been linked from day one in the wrestling industry.

Two kids who followed their dream of becoming professional wrestlers while growing up in Quebec, they have been attached since they first laced boots in Canada. They migrated south to the States, where they became attractions at top independent promotions before signing with Ring of Honor and becoming two of that company's greatest stars ever.

They signed with WWE around the same time, feuded in NXT, and arrived as heated rivals on the main roster. They have been together for their entire run as professional wrestlers, and Sunday night, they will compete against each other on the grandest stage either will ever work on.

At WrestleMania, two kids who dreamed of the bright lights, big stage and highest-profile wrestling matches will realize their dreams together in what may be one of the best matches on the entire two-night card.

That is, if WWE can resist the urge to have YouTube celeb Logan Paul get involved and ruin the whole thing.

Owens and Zayn have a long history of show-stealing matchups. They are no stranger to delivering extraordinary performances, as witnessed in 2016's Battleground pay-per-view. While they have competed more recently as tag team partners, they will rekindle their rivalry with eyes on upstaging everyone else on the card.

It remains to be seen if they succeed or not, but expect nothing short of the absolute best from both men at this stage of their careers as they look to make the most of a moment they've worked an entire lifetime to achieve.

There are flashier Superstars on the Raw and SmackDown roster, but few have been as good as Sheamus has been over the last six months.

The former WWE champion has delivered some of the hardest-hitting matches in the company in that time, including a series with Drew McIntyre that was as physical as anything fans have witnessed in Vince McMahon's promotion in years.

Whether he worked McIntyre in main events or the likes of Keith Lee on the undercard, Sheamus has excelled, entering his name in the conversation for best performer of the ThunderDome Era.

Sunday night, he is rewarded with a United States Championship opportunity against Riddle.

It is a title he has held before, and to some, it may be considered a step down.

Considering where Sheamus was on SmackDown prior to his move to Monday nights, it is anything but.

On SmackDown, he wandered aimlessly, battling Jeff Hardy and Chad Gable in going-nowhere feuds. On Mondays, he has mixed it up with champions and remained a high-profile Superstar from the start.

Sunday is the culmination of his months of hard work, and while he may not be favored to beat Riddle ahead of the event, do not be surprised if WWE Creative pulls the proverbial trigger and awards Sheamus the championship as payment for an extraordinary run.
