WWE Mock Draft 2020: B/R Staff Picks New Rosters and Fantasy Books PPV
WWE Mock Draft 2020: B/R Staff Picks New Rosters and Fantasy Books PPV

If WWE was operating under normal circumstances, we would probably be getting a Superstar draft right around this time.
The most recent draft took place on October 14, but before then, we saw Superstars moved to different brands in April of 2019, 2018 and 2017. It has almost become a post-WrestleMania tradition.
Since WWE hasn't announced any plans for a shake-up, Erik Beaston and I thought it would be fun to draft our own rosters to create competing WrestleMania pay-per-views.
Imagine for a moment that Vince McMahon has decided to retire and his two predecessors, Stephanie and Shane McMahon, split the company in half after a disagreement.
They both agree to share the trademarks and hold a real draft to determine which Superstars end up working for each version of WWE. Once this is done, they each hold their own WrestleMania.
Beaston and I each drafted 30 men, 15 women, six tag teams and one authority figure for our brands. In what ended up being a total coincidence, Beaston ended up with all of the Raw champions and I had all of the SmackDown champions.
After you take a look at our rosters and the PPV cards we have created, it is up to you to decide who has the better roster and PPV.
Let's take a look at how our fantasy draft went.

Beaston's WrestleMania Card
Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey (Raw Women's Championship)
At WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch became the first woman to defeat Ronda Rousey in a WWE ring. Since then, she has brought it up consistently, poking and prodding at Rowdy Ronda to set foot back inside the squared circle so they could settle their issues.
After weeks of intense brawls and a police pull-apart in the go-home show, they meet with Lynch's Raw Women's Championship at stake in the main event.
Drew McIntyre vs. Finn Balor vs. WALTER (WWE Championship)
When Imperium invades WWE, WALTER wastes little time setting his sights on the company's top title, held by Drew McIntyre. He does not account for one Superstar, though, the one with no allegiance to WWE or Imperium: Finn Balor.
The Prince vows to win the WWE title for no one but himself. After a controversial finish in the match between Balor and WALTER, the defiant McIntyre vows to defend against both competitors at WrestleMania.
After the match, the victor is attacked by Karrion Kross, accompanied by Scarlett Bordeaux, as he stakes his claim to the WWE Championship and creates a cliffhanger to be addressed on the following night's Raw.
The Undertaker vs. Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins has defeated Kane, Sheamus, Big Show, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, Triple H and Roman Reigns on the grand stage, but his legacy will not be complete until The Monday Night Messiah defeats The Deadman on wrestling's biggest night.
For Undertaker, it is an opportunity to silence wrestling's greatest false prophet.
Aleister Black vs. Andrade with Zelina Vega (U.S. Championship)
When Aleister Black refuses Zelina Vega's managerial advances, she sics Andrade, Garza and Theory on him.
Black tears through Garza and Theory before challenging Andrade for the U.S. title. When Vega and El Idolo refuse, Paige makes the match official and reveals La Muneca will be suspended above the ring in a shark cage, ensuring she cannot get involved.
Tommaso Ciampa vs. 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt
Tommaso Ciampa continues to be haunted by his loss to Johnny Gargano and the absence of his NXT Championship when Bray Wyatt emerges with his latest episode of The Firefly Fun House devoted to The Blackheart.
He says if Ciampa will not allow Wyatt to awaken him from the dark abyss he finds himself in, The Fiend will do it for him. Then, when Ciampa is exorcised, he will personally see to it that Mrs. and baby Ciampa are provided for.
Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar (Non-Sanctioned, No Holds Barred Match)
At SummerSlam 2016, Lesnar bloodied and battered Orton in a match that ended via referee stoppage. Haunted by that night for the last four years, The Viper challenges The Beast Incarnate to a grudge match with no rules, no referee stoppages and in which there must be a winner.
Kevin Owens, Rey Mysterio and King Corbin vs. Fabian Aichner, Alexander Wolfe and Marcel Barthel (Six-Man Tag Team Street Fight)
Imperium invades WWE in a hostile takeover, vowing to return honor to the mat game, and does so by interrupting matches and beating down top stars Kevin Owens and Rey Mysterio.
When they attack King Corbin following a hard-fought win, it sets up a scenario in which Mysterio and Owens must learn to trust the hated Lone Wolf and band together to defeat Fabian Aichner, Alexander Wolfe and Marcel Barthel in a Six-Man Tag Team Street Fight.
Rhea Ripley and Toni Storm vs. Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez (Tag Team Grudge Match)
When Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez target Rhea Ripley in Kai's quest to move up the women's title rankings, Toni Storm returns to help her frenemy fend off the terrible twosome while simultaneously eyeing her own rise.
The Street Profits vs. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode vs. Angel Garza and Austin Theory vs. John Morrison and The Miz (Raw Tag Team Championships)
When The Street Profits anger Paige during a chance backstage encounter, she seeks revenge by booking them against each of the top three contending teams.
When they emerge victorious, she looks for vengeance by booking a Fatal 4-Way Elimination match for WrestleMania, all but ensuring Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins do not leave with their titles.
Liv Morgan vs. Ruby Riott (Dog Collar Match)
Ruby Riott insists that Liv Morgan isn't strong enough to be her own woman and that she owned her in the Riott Squad "like a good little puppy."
Morgan responds by issuing a challenge for a Dog Collar match so the two of them can settle their differences. Riott accepts with one exception: if she wins, Morgan is her property for 30 days.
Otis (with Mandy Rose) vs. Sheamus (Pre-Show)
As the relationship between Otis and Mandy Rose intensifies, Sheamus becomes more and more infuriated by the high school romance taking over his brand.
When he accidentally lays The Golden Goddess out during an encounter with Otis, the big man blows up and a match is made for the biggest show of the year.
The Usos vs. The Grizzled Young Veterans (Pre-Show)
The Usos take exception to Zack Gibson and James Drake calling themselves the best tag team in the world, claiming they had done nothing to prove it.
The Grizzled Young Veterans challenge the standard-bearers for tag team wrestling in WWE to a match at WrestleMania, and Jimmy and Jey predictably accept.
Mueller's WrestleMania Card
John Cena vs. Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns vs. Keith Lee vs. Velveteen Dream vs. Big Show (Universal Championship Elimination Chamber Match)
Braun Strowman declares himself the most unbeatable champion of all time and dares anyone to challenge him at WrestleMania.
Not only does John Cena return to face The Monster Among Men, but Keith Lee, Velveteen Dream, Big Show and Roman Reigns also want a piece of the action.
William Regal decides the only way to settle this is inside the Elimination Chamber. In a show of strength, Strowman offers to be one of the first two competitors in the match.
Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Shayna Baszler vs. TBD (Women's Championship Fatal 4-Way)
Charlotte Flair challenges Bayley to a title match, but Shayna Baszler feels like she is first in line.
A match between The Queen and The Queen of Spades ends in a no-contest, and Regal has no choice but to grant both women a title shot. Bayley yells at him, and he responds by adding a fourth competitor to be determined during the pre-show.
The New Day vs. The Broserweights (Tag Team Championships)
Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne interrupt a promo by The New Day and declare themselves the best tag team in all of professional wrestling. Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods say they haven't accomplished anything and offer them the chance to prove themselves at the biggest show of the year.
Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro vs. Drew Gulak and Daniel Bryan (IC Championship Handicap Match: If Gulak or Bryan pin anyone, they win the title)
Drew Gulak and Daniel Bryan grow frustrated with not being able to fight Sami Zayn without interference from Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura.
Bryan tells the trio that in a fair fight, he and Gulak could beat all three of them. Zayn takes the bait and puts his intercontinental title on the line in a handicap three-on-two tag team match. If Gulak or Bryan pin anyone, they win the belt.
Edge and Jeff Hardy vs. Ricochet and Cedric Alexander (TLC Match for a Future Tag Title Shot)
Ricochet and Cedric Alexander win a series of matches and begin bragging about how exciting they are to watch.
They want a title shot, but Regal says they will have to earn it in a ladder match against another team. Jeff Hardy and Edge seize the opportunity to partake in their favorite stipulation while teaming together for the first time.
Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross vs. The Kabuki Warriors vs. Naomi and Carmella (Women's Tag Title Triple Threat)
Carmella and Naomi are sick of not getting the opportunities they think they deserve.
They interrupt a tag title bout between the champions and The Kabuki Warriors, taking out both teams in the process. They earn a title shot by beating both teams in separate matches, setting up a triple threat bout at WrestleMania.
Cain Velasquez vs. Bobby Lashley (MMA Rules)
Cain Velasquez is looking to regain his pride after losing to Brock Lesnar and offers an open challenge to anyone who is willing to fight him on his own terms in an MMA match.
Lashley answers the call and promises to send Velasquez into retirement. Regal agrees to have a special cage constructed just for this bout.
Goldberg vs. Triple H (Career vs. Career Steel Cage Match)
Goldberg wants another title shot after losing to Strowman, but his requests go unanswered. He decides to take matters into his own hands by attacking the man he thinks can get him what he wants, Triple H.
The Game says Goldberg is washed up and Goldberg calls Trips a corporate sellout. They both agree to put their careers on the line in a Steel Cage match to settle their differences once and for all. It is billed as the final battle between WWE and WCW.
Ligero vs. Kalisto vs. Gran Metalik vs. El Hijo del Fantasma (Loser Must Remove Their Mask)
El Hijo del Fantasma comes into WWE and begins going after every masked Superstar he can find. He tries and fails to remove their masks on several occasions.
He finally agrees to stop his attacks if Kalisto, Ligero and Gran Metalik put their masks on the line against his in a Fatal 4-Way. Regal agrees to make the match as long as Fantasma promises to remove his if he loses and respects the traditions of lucha libre.
Candice LeRae vs. Kacy Catanzaro vs. Io Shirai vs. Tegan Nox vs. Shotzi Blackheart vs. Sonya Deville (Pre-Show Gauntlet Match to Determine Final Competitor for Fatal 4-Way Later in the Show)
Regal decides a Triple Threat is not good enough for the women's title at WrestleMania and puts every other woman in the division into a gauntlet match to determine who will join the other three competitors later in the show.
Murphy, Mustafa Ali, Apollo Crews and Humberto Carrillo vs. The Undisputed Era (Pre-Show)
Adam Cole and his crew arrive on the scene and begin wreaking havoc. They target anyone and everyone, making many enemies along the way.
Murphy, Mustafa Ali, Apollo Crews and Humberto Carrillo band together to face them in an eight-man tag match to kick off the pre-show.
