Week 15 DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Football Picks, Lineup Tips for Sunday

Dec 18, 2022

Four games have already taken place in Week 15 of the 2022 NFL season, as there was the standard Thursday night matchup and then three contests on Saturday. However, the Sunday slate is still quite full, considering all 32 teams are in action this week.

Eleven games are set to take place Sunday, and they're spread out evenly. Six are in the early window, four in the late afternoon and then a night matchup between the New York Giants and Washington Commanders.

So if you're planning on filling out a lineup on DraftKings or FanDuel on Sunday, there are still plenty of players to choose from. But who should you target to score the most possible points?

Here's some DFS advice for Sunday, which should feature exciting games throughout the day.

Prescott Should Provide Great Value at QB

Quite a few quarterbacks playing Sunday have a higher DFS cost than Dak Prescott ($6,200 on DraftKings; $7,500 on FanDuel). The Dallas Cowboys QB is underpriced, considering he's likely to have a strong showing in a road matchup vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Prescott had thrown multiple touchdown passes in five consecutive games before a down performance against the Houston Texans last week. But the 29-year-old should bounce back in Week 15, as the Jags are giving up the eighth-most fantasy points per game to QBs, per NFL.com.

Plus, this could be a high-scoring, back-and-forth affair, with Jacksonville's offense performing better of late. So Prescott could throw the ball a good bit, likely leading to a lot of yardage and multiple touchdown passes.

With a high floor and the potential for a huge game, Prescott should provide tremendous value in daily fantasy. Consider him a safe play to anchor a lineup at QB.

Pacheco Is Must-Start RB Due to Stellar Matchup

The Texans have the worst run defense in the NFL. They're giving up a league-high 165.8 rushing yards per game, and they're giving up the most fantasy points per game to running backs, per NFL.com.

This week, it's Isiah Pacheco's turn to capitalize on that favorable matchup, as Kansas City is going on the road to face Houston. It's a game that the Chiefs should win with ease, so they may opt to keep the ball on the ground for much of the second half, when they're likely to have a sizable lead.

Pacheco ($5,900 on DraftKings; $7,600 on FanDuel) has an affordable DFS price, especially given his recent involvement in Kansas City's offense. The 23-year-old rookie has taken over as the Chiefs' primary RB, having touched the ball 15-plus times in each of his past five games.

After scoring two touchdowns over the past three weeks, Pacheco has a good chance to get into the end zone again on Sunday. The Rutgers product should produce a high fantasy output, making it a smart decision to include him in DFS lineups.

Watkins Is a Potential Sleeper WR to Consider

With A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith as the leaders of Philadelphia's receiving corps, Quez Watkins is never likely to see a huge number of targets. However, he has been getting more passes thrown his way in recent weeks, and that could continue on Sunday.

Watkins, who scored a touchdown in back-to-back games in Weeks 11 and 12, has recorded at least five targets in each of the Eagles' past three contests. That's led to 12 catches over that span.

Because of his low DFS price ($3,600 on DraftKings; $5,200 on FanDuel), Watkins is a great wide receiver to take a chance on this week. The 24-year-old has big-play potential, and the Chicago Bears' defense has been susceptible to giving up some long passes this season.

it's a bit of a risk to play Watkins, but it's a choice that could pay big dividends. So if you have enough safe plays in your lineup, it may be beneficial to slot the Southern Miss product into one of the final spots.
