Raiders vs. Rams Picks, Lineup Tips for Daily Fantasy FanDuel, DraftKings
The NFL Week 14 opener between the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles has a clear daily fantasy football focus.
Josh Jacobs and Davante Adams have been fantasy football superstars over the last few weeks, and they will be the targets of many captain spots and multiplier positions in FanDuel and DraftKings lineups.
Rostering the two Las Vegas stars could get you a lot of points, but it likely will not win a competition unless you have a unique lineup made up of role players.
The Rams' production has been hard to figure out with their revolving door of quarterbacks.
Cam Akers had a resurgence in Week 13, and five players had three or more targets against the Seattle Seahawks.
Picking out the right Rams players to partner Jacobs and Adams will likely be the difference in finishing at the top or in the middle of the pack.
Keep It Simple with Josh Jacobs, Davante Adams

Almost all rosters in DFS contests on Thursday will have at least one of Davante Adams and Josh Jacobs.
Most rosters will feature both players because of their output over the last few weeks.
Jacobs ran for 482 yards and three touchdowns in the last three weeks. He had 131 receiving yards on 11 receptions as well.
The Raiders running back has six 100-plus-yard performances this season. Five of them saw Jacobs go over 140 rushing yards.
Adams has four 125-plus-yard receiving games in the last five weeks. He caught a pair of touchdown passes in Weeks 11 and 13.
In Week 13, Adams accounted for 177 of the team's 250 receiving yards.
One of those players will likely sit in the captain spot in DFS contests. If there is a unique captain, both players should be rostered in some capacity.
Adams will likely be paired with Derek Carr to maximize the point potential.
The Rams conceded over 400 yards of total offense in the last two weeks, and they will be without Aaron Donald again on Thursday.
There is potential for both players to go off, and given their recent production, it is hard to ignore them for DFS contests.
Is It Time To Trust Cam Akers?

Cam Akers has been one of the most frustrating fantasy football players this season.
He was supposed to be one of the top fantasy running backs, but instead, he was inactive for a few weeks and lacked production when he did play.
The Rams running back finally cashed in on the hopes that we had for him in Week 13, as he ran for 60 yards and two scores on 17 carries.
That was the most promising sign yet that Akers is the guy once again in the Rams backfield.
Los Angeles could rely on him more on a short week against a defensive line that can get to the quarterback fairly well.
Akers could be used in addition to Jacobs in DFS lineups, or as a shrewd alternative to the Raiders running back.
There may be some hesitation to using Akers because of how his season has gone, but this would be the week to use him with the Rams offense in shambles and no true top receiver option to trust with Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson out.
Find the Right Depth

The problem with finding depth on both rosters is that there may not be any.
Adams and Jacobs dominated the Raiders' offensive production recently.
Mack Hollins and Foster Moreau are the pass-game alternatives to Adams. Moreau has two touchdowns this season, both of which came in the last four weeks. Hollins has 15 catches in the last three games.
Hollins and Moreau would be used for catches and yardage. Jacobs and Adams take up most of the red-zone touches.
For the Rams, any one of Van Jefferson, Tutu Atwell, Brandon Powell and Ben Skowronek could lead the team in targets.
Powell had the most receptions last week, while Atwell and tight end Tyler Higbee each had five targets.
Jefferson has multiple catches in each of the last four games, so he may be the trustworthy play. He also has two touchdowns in that span.
Banking on more than one Rams receiver seems risky because of the questionable quarterback play and the points you could lose by not having Jacobs and/or Adams rostered.
