Fantasy Football Week 13 Rankings: Guide for Top Players and Sleepers

With 12 weeks of the 2022 NFL season now done, fantasy football managers have precious little time remaining to make one final push for the playoffs.
A misstep now can be a season-killer, and that's not a hyperbolic suggestion.
Conversely, though, an expertly managed roster can be the difference in extending your season and potentially positioning you for a run at the crown.
Let's keep our glasses three-quarters full, then, and hope for the absolute best. To give you a helpful nudge in that direction, we're laying out our rankings and spotlighting a streamer at each of the three marquee positions for Week 13.
Quarterback

Top 10
1. Patrick Mahomes, KC (at CIN)
2. Jalen Hurts, PHI (vs. TEN)
3. Josh Allen, BUF (at NE)
4. Justin Herbert, LAC (at LV)
5. Joe Burrow, CIN (vs. KC)
6. Tua Tagovailoa, MIA (at SF)
7. Dak Prescott, DAL (vs. IND)
8. Lamar Jackson, BAL (vs. DEN)
9. Geno Smith SEA (at LAR)
10. Tom Brady, TB (vs. NO)
Sleeper: Trevor Lawrence, JAX (at DET)
While Trevor Lawrence's rushing ability had helped raise his fantasy floor in recent weeks, it was his passing that elevated his fantasy ceiling during Sunday's come-from-behind win over Baltimore.
The 23-year-old picked apart the Ravens' secondary to the tune of a season-high 321 passing yards. Incredibly, his efficiency was just as impressive as his volume. He completed 78.4 percent of his attempts, tossed three touchdown passes and had a third consecutive game without an interception.
It should be asking a lot to expect a repeat performance, yet it doesn't quite feel that way. Not with Detroit on the docket. The Lions have allowed the most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, per Yahoo.
Running Back

Top 20

13. Alvin Kamara, NO (at TB)
14. David Montgomery, CHI (vs. GB)
15. Jamaal Williams, DET (vs. JAX)
16. Jeff Wilson Jr., MIA (at SF)
17. Dameon Pierce, HOU (vs. CLE)
18. Travis Etienne Jr., JAX (at DET)
19. Miles Sanders, PHI (vs. TEN)
20. Najee Harris, PIT (at ATL)
Sleeper: Isiah Pacheco, KC (at CIN)
Isiah Pacheco probably shouldn't qualify as a sleeper anymore. He is the featured back in one of the NFL's most electric offenses, and he keeps putting up numbers whenever called upon.
Then again, until the fantasy community fully wakes up to the 23-year-old, he's an easy lock in this spot. Sunday wasn't his most efficient work ever, yet he still delivered 86 scrimmage yards and a score on 23 touches (22 carries and a catch on his lone target).
With points likely coming early and often in Cincinnati, Pacheco's usage seems likely to remain high for two reasons. One, he's one of the best playmakers in this offense not named Travis Kelce; two, he offers Kansas City's best option for controlling the clock and keeping Cincinnati's high-octane offense off of the field.
Wide Receiver

Top 20
1. Justin Jefferson MIN (vs. NYJ)
2. Stefon Diggs, BUF (at NE)
3. Davante Adams, LV (vs. LAC)
4. A.J. Brown, PHI (vs. TEN)
5. CeeDee Lamb, DAL (vs. IND)
6. Tyreek Hill, MIA (at SF)
7. Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET (vs. JAX)
8. Tee Higgins, CIN (vs. KC)
9. Amari Cooper, CLE (at HOU)
10. Jaylen Waddle, MIA (at SF)
11. Mike Evans, TB (vs. NO)
12. Deebo Samuel, SF (vs. MIA)
13. DK Metcalf, SEA (at LAR)
14. Chris Olave, NO (at TB)
15. Brandon Aiyuk, SF (vs. MIA)
16. Chris Godwin, TB (vs. NO)
17. Gabe Davis, BUF (at NE)
18. Terry McLaurin, WAS (at NYG)
19. Christian Kirk, JAX (at DET)
20. Keenan Allen, LAC (at LV)
Sleeper: Donovan Peoples-Jones, CLE (at HOU)
Don't hold Donovan Peoples-Jones' Week 12 dud (two catches on four targets for 16 yards) against him. Cleveland couldn't get much going in the passing game against Tampa Bay—at least, not when the Browns threw to anyone other than Amari Cooper—and every non-elite wide receiver is due to lay an egg every now and then.
Prior to Sunday, though, Peoples-Jones was quickly becoming a reliable fantasy asset. In his seven prior outings, he had seen an average of 6.6 targets which yielded 4.7 receptions for 72.4 yards. Even with only a single score in that stretch, the 23-year-old was making fantasy managers happy.
With Deshaun Watson set to take over under center in Cleveland, the Browns' aerial attack could be even more dynamic. That bodes well for all of their pass-catchers, Peoples-Jones included.
