Fantasy Football Week 11 Rankings: Updated Positional Breakdown for Flex and PPR
Fantasy Football Week 11 Rankings: Updated Positional Breakdown for Flex and PPR

The three standard flex positions—running back, wide receiver and tight end—are the money spots in fantasy football.
There is enough depth at quarterback that most teams in your league should have a good-to-great option in that spot. While defense and kickers have the occasional eruption, they usually aren't the positions that decide a matchup.
Instead, it all comes down to those three playmaking positions, so let's give them the prominence they deserve by laying out flex rankings for point-per-reception leagues and a deeper dive, with projections, for the player at each spot with the best matchup.

Best RB Matchup: Brian Robinson at Houston Texans

Washington's running back room is a little tricky to pin down, but Robinson seems to be the preferred choice when the Commanders have a chance to run clock with a lead.
The Texans have one win on the season and the NFL's second-worst scoring differential (minus-58). If Washington hasn't built a decent lead in this game, something will have gone awry.
Robinson has played in four Commanders wins this season. One saw Washington wiggle out of a nine-point deficit in the fourth quarter. In the other three, he rushed 63 times for 219 yards and two touchdowns.
Projected stats: 92 rushing yards, two touchdowns
Best WR Matchup: Tee Higgins at Pittsburgh Steelers

If Higgins wants to know how inviting a date with the Steelers can be, he just needs to ask his teammates. Back in Week 1, Ja'Marr Chase and Tyler Boyd torched this team with 14 receptions for 162 yards and two scores.
Then again, Higgins could simply opt to tap into his own memory bank. While he was quiet in that contest (two catches, 27 yards), he was electric in his only matchup with the Steelers last season, collecting six of his eight targets for 114 yards and a touchdown.
Pittsburgh has surrendered the second-most fantasy points to wide receivers, per Yahoo, and the third-most passing yards per game.
Projected stats: Seven receptions, 98 yards, one touchdown
Best TE Matchup: George Kittle at Arizona Cardinals

Kittle's place in San Francisco's offense changes more often than you'd like, and unfortunately, there's no reason to think that will go away. With Christian McCaffrey on board, and Deebo Samuel and Elijah Mitchell healthy, there are simply more playmakers than this Jimmy Garoppolo-led passing attack can support.
If there is production to be had on Monday night, though, look for Kittle to feast.
The Cardinals have allowed the second-most fantasy points to tight ends, per Yahoo, and Kittle has firsthand knowledge of that statistical generosity. When he locked horns with the Cardinals last season, he turned eight targets into six receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown.
Projected stats: Four receptions, 63 yards, one touchdown
