The 10 Most Entertaining Superstars on the WWE Roster
The 10 Most Entertaining Superstars on the WWE Roster

Professional wrestling is an athletic endeavor that requires years of training and practice to master, but above all else, it's a form of entertainment.
While the majority of the entertainment value comes from the matches that take place inside the squared circle, non-wrestling segments can be just as engaging.
Promos, interviews, backstage interactions and pre-taped segments are just some of the ways WWE Superstars can provide fun moments without having a match.
Acting ability and comedic timing have become important tools for pro wrestlers, and the better they master those skills, the more chances they have for success.
Do you think The Rock made it to the top of the mountain by being the best technician or by being the most electrifying Superstar to pick up a microphone?
Here's a hint: It's the latter.
While we run through the 10 most entertaining Superstars in WWE, it's important to remember this list is not based on wrestling ability or match quality. We are only looking at those on the current roster who produce memorable moments in and out of the ring.
Sami Zayn
Is anyone else feeling Ucey today?
If you read this headline and tried to predict which names might appear on our list, it's almost a guarantee you had Sami Zayn as one of the options.
The Honorary Uce has been one of the most reliable performers on WWE rosters for years, but he has reached a new level since joining The Bloodline.
Not only is he making the fans laugh on a weekly basis, but he has also made every single member of the group break on live television. Even Roman Reigns couldn't keep a straight face last week when Zayn brought up the concept of "being Ucey."
Watching The Tribal Chief, both Usos and Paul Heyman try their best not to smile during what was supposed to be a serious moment ended up being one of the best things we saw that week.
The Bloodline were starting to get a little stale before Zayn came along and breathed new life into the group. He has not only put himself in one of the most high-profile storylines in WWE, but he has also become one of its most integral parts.
It would be hard to find someone as useful and versatile as The Great Liberator, but there might be some contenders on the rest of this list.
R-Truth
R-Truth is currently out with an injury he suffered on last week's episode of NXT, but he has been one of WWE's most valuable assets in recent years.
There's just something about the 50-year-old that you can't quite define. We all know he is a gifted athlete, but it's his ability to generate laughs that has kept him in WWE for this long.
Whether he is arguing with his invisible best friend, Little Jimmy, or chasing around whoever held the 24/7 Championship before Nikki Cross threw the belt away, he has always been entertaining.
In fact, the only reason the 24/7 title was ever liked by anyone was due to Truth's work in those segments. He even had a fun partnership with Carmella for a time that many fans still miss.
Bayley
When it comes to the women's division in WWE, you would be hard-pressed to find anyone as talented and beloved as Bayley.
Not only has she been part of some of the best matches in NXT and on the main roster during her tenure, but she is also one of the funniest people in the entire company.
Her ongoing feud with Michael Cole is one of the most subtly funny things in pro wrestling. She never misses an opportunity to poke and prod the veteran announcer, and it's always a joy when she does it out of nowhere.
Ever since The Role Model turned heel and embraced her dark side, she has been one of the MVPs of WWE programming. She spent most of 2022 on the shelf with an injury, but she has been firing on all cylinders since returning at SummerSlam on July 30.
She may have been unsuccessful against Bianca Belair in their recent title match, but there is a good chance Bayley has a championship around her waist again in the near future.
Kevin Owens
Much like his best friend, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens is one of those guys who makes every segment he's in better.
KO is a brutal competitor who can dish out some of the most punishing offense we see in a WWE ring, but he can also make an entire arena laugh at the drop of a hat.
A recent episode of The KO Show on NXT garnered a lot of attention online because he coined the name "JD McDontGoogleMe" for JD McDonagh. It's likely a moniker that will stick for some time.
The great thing about Owens is he has the unique ability to be both intimidating and hilarious at the same time, which is a fine line to walk.
Chad Gable and Otis
The WWE tag team division has some talented pairings such as The Usos, The New Day, Viking Raiders and Los Lotharios, but it would be impossible not to include Alpha Academy on that list, too.
The pairing of Chad Gable and Otis felt random at first. WWE has given the Olympian a few different partners since his team with Jason Jordan ended in 2017, but nobody has meshed with him as well as Otis.
Together, they have created one of the most entertaining acts on the entire roster. Gable is the in-your-face kind of funny while Otis plays things with more subtlety.
Gable is so good that he turned simple things like "Thank youuuuuuuu" and "Shoooooosh, shoosh please" into popular catchphrases simply because his delivery is so good.
Not only are both men fun to watch in non-wrestling segments, but they are also legitimately great athletes who can put on bangers against just about anybody WWE can throw at them.
If WWE ever splits the tag titles up so Raw and SmackDown each have their own set of belts again, Alpha Academy need to be considered for a reign immediately.
Bray Wyatt
A lot of the people on this list are included for their ability to make us laugh, but Bray Wyatt is a completely different kind of entertaining.
The former Fiend has had the WWE Universe captivated ever since he made his return to the company at Extreme Rules on October 8. We don't know much about what the company has planned yet, but so far, everything has kept us invested.
Wyatt's ability to capture our attention with a few simple words is remarkable. He can channel so much emotion in his promos that when he begins to talk, the arena usually falls silent so everyone can listen.
He can easily convey pain, joy, sadness and intensity, and sometimes he can do all of it at once. He is a generational talent. He might not be a five-star match machine, but he offers something completely different, and that's what makes him so valuable.
Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley is not only one of the brightest young stars on the entire roster, but she is also one of the only reasons The Judgment Day have worked as a stable.
The 26-year-old offers a greater physical threat than most, but in recent months, her personality is what has shined the most, especially when it comes to Dominik Mysterio.
The son of the legendary Rey Mysterio has received a lot of criticism since he arrived on the scene, but pairing him with Ripley has been a godsend for his career.
Now, he is getting nuclear heat every time he picks up a mic. And every time Ripley whispers something in his ear, fans are left to wonder what she says that makes him smile.
Whether she is insulting someone on the mic or bodyslamming a guy like Luke Gallows, your eyes are drawn to The Nightmare every time she is on our screens.
Ripley just has "it," and WWE would be wise to give her a huge push as one of the women's champions in 2023.
Drew Gulak
The majority of people reading this might be surprised to see Drew Gulak included, but anyone who has paid attention to his WWE career will know why he deserves a spot.
The 35-year-old is a gifted technical wrestler who can put on a great match against a variety of different opponents and styles, but he is also capable of making us laugh with the simplest of lines.
When WWE saddled him with a gimmick that was based around him giving Powerpoint presentations on 205 Live, it seemed like the first nail in his coffin. Within a few weeks, though, he had the crowd looking forward to his educational slideshows and promos.
In the years since Gulak moved away from the cruiserweight division, he has continued to be hilarious whenever he is given the opportunity to talk.
Even something as simple as his interaction with Hit Row during Halloween reminded us of how good he is when given a chance to shine.
Big E
He may be sidelined with an injury right now, but compiling this list and not including Big E would have been a crime of the highest degree.
The powerhouse of The New Day is one of those guys who creates instant memes, and it's because he has such a bright personality for a man who looks like he could rip you in half as easily as he could tear a piece of paper.
It's not just his ability to make us laugh with his words that makes him so much fun to watch; it's also his facial expressions and body language that stand out. Without him, The New Day would never have made it as far as they have.
The day we finally get to hear Big E enthusiastically introduce the group before their entrance again will be a happy day for the WWE Universe. Well, Corey Graves might not be so happy about having a jacket thrown at him again, but we'll all laugh.
The names mentioned on this list all stand out for their ability to provide us with entertaining moments outside the confines of a match, but they aren't the only ones who have this talent. Which WWE Superstars do you think are the most fun to watch these days?
