Fantasy Football Week 7 Rankings: Updated Positional Breakdown for Flex and PPR

Quite a few of the NFL's top teams won't be in action during Week 7. The Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles will all have byes, which will also leave some of the top fantasy performers at home.
But there's still plenty to be excited about regarding Week 7, with some thrilling matchups on the Sunday schedule. And for fantasy managers, there are enough top players to fill out strong lineups for the week.
As the bulk of the Week 7 action approaches, here are some updated positional rankings heading into Sunday's slate of games.
Quarterback

1. Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (vs. CLE)
2. Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert (vs. SEA)
3. Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (at SF)
4. Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow (vs. ATL)
5. Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (at WAS)
6. Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (vs. DET)
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady (at CAR)
8. Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith (at LAC)
9. Denver Broncos QB Russell Wilson (vs. NYJ)
10. Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr (vs. HOU)
If there's an opportunity for Rodgers to finally break out for a big performance this season, this would be it. The Packers' passing attack has been struggling, but this week's matchup against the Commanders is a prime opportunity for the unit to get right.
Washington's secondary is beatable, and it will likely have trouble trying to stop an elite QB such as Rodgers, the reigning two-time NFL MVP. Even though Green Bay doesn't have as many offensive playmakers as recent years, there's still enough talent on the unit to have success in Week 7.
Another quarterback to keep an eye on this week is Prescott. He's making his return from right thumb surgery on Sunday, and he immediately gets a great matchup against the Lions. It should be an opportunity for him to put up a good number of fantasy points right away.
Running Back

1. New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley (at JAX)
2. Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler (vs. SEA)
3. Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb (at BAL)
4. Las Vegas Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (vs. HOU)
5. Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry (vs. IND)
6. Seattle Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III (at LAC)
7. Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (at TEN)
8. Houston Texans RB Dameon Pierce (at LV)
9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Leonard Fournette (at CAR)
10. New England Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (vs. CHI)
Now that Walker is the clear lead RB in Seattle, his fantasy stock has gone way up. That's especially the case following his performance in Week 6, when he had 21 carries for 97 yards and a touchdown (as well as two catches for 13 yards) in the Seahawks' victory over the Cardinals.
Walker may fare even better in Week 7. He'll be going up against a Chargers defense that is allowing 125 rushing yards per game. So Walker should have no trouble moving the ball on the ground, and the Seahawks have proven they're going to give him plenty of opportunities to do so moving forward.
Fellow rookie Pierce is also poised for a strong showing coming off the Texans' Week 6 bye. He's been a workhorse for Houston, and he should get a lot of touches in its Week 7 matchup against Las Vegas.
Wide Receiver

1. Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (vs. ATL)
2. Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams (vs. HOU)
3. Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (vs. PIT)
4. San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (vs. KC)
5. Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (vs. DET)
6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (at CAR)
7. Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (at DAL)
8. Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams (vs. SEA)
9. Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (at BAL)
10. Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (vs. NYJ)
The 49ers will likely need to put up a lot of points this week if they hope to take down the Chiefs. Their offense got a huge boost when they traded for running back Christian McCaffrey, but he may not be ready for a huge role on Sunday.
Because of that, San Francisco could need to rely on Samuel for this matchup against Kansas City. He's currently the top player on the 49ers' offense, and he's sure to get a lot of touches, especially if the team is playing from behind against a challenging opponent.
Meanwhile, Williams should have a bounce-back performance for the Chargers this week. He had only two catches for 17 yards in Los Angeles' Week 6 win over Denver, but he'll be facing Seattle in Week 7. The Seahawks are giving up 410.8 total yards per game, the third most in the NFL.
Tight End

1. Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews (vs. CLE)
2. Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (at SF)
3. San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (vs. KC)
4. Detroit Lions TE T.J. Hockenson (at DAL)
5. Green Bay Packers TE Robert Tonyan (at WAS)
6. Los Angeles Chargers TE Gerald Everett (vs. SEA)
7. Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts (at CIN)
8. Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth (at MIA)
9. Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (at BAL)
10. Cincinnati Bengals TE Hayden Hurst (vs. ATL)
Andrews didn't practice with the Ravens on Wednesday or Thursday due to a knee injury, but he returned as a limited participant on Friday. So it seems that he likely should be fine to suit up for Baltimore's Week 7 matchup against Cleveland.
As long as Andrews plays, he's poised to have another big performance. He's been the Ravens' top receiving option through six weeks, and that's unlikely to change moving forward.
Tonyan is a tight end on the rise after he had 10 receptions for 90 yards in the Packers' Week 6 loss to the Jets. With Green Bay needing pass-catchers to step up, Tonyan is doing just that. So he could build off that strong performance with another solid showing in Week 7 against Washington.
