LIV Golf Invitational Series 2022 Bangkok: Tee Times, Prize Money and Predictions

LIV Golf is heading to Bangkok, Thailand, for the sixth stop on its inaugural eight-tournament run.
This is the first time the startup golf tour will host a tourney outside of the United States since its debut in London back in June.
And just as its "Golf, but louder" slogan touts, this event will feature some big names and big energy.
The Invitational Series will feature 48 players, including Cameron Smith, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau, separated into 12 teams. They will hit the links at the recently opened Stonehill Golf Course just north of Bangkok and vie for bragging rights and some serious cash.
The purse is confirmed for $25 million, with $4 million going to the individual winner, while $16 million will be split among the rest of the field based on the leaderboard.
The remaining $5 million will be split three ways, with $3 million to the top team, $1.5 million going to the second-place foursome and $500,000 going to the third-place quartet.
Johnson, winner of the Boston Invitational and leader of the individual standings with 118 points, is the favorite to win at Stonehill with +450 odds, per DraftKings.
Smith is right behind him at +500. As the winner of last month's event in Chicago, he'll have momentum on his side.

Predictions

Dustin Johnson Gets Second Win
Among the top names playing Bangkok is Phachara Khongwatmai, the 23-year-old Thai golfer who will hope to bring a little home cooking to the event.
Meanwhile, Johnson leads the field with one win and three third-place finishes.
The oddsmakers have the two-time major winner taking the $4 million at Stonehill, and that's with good reason.
He's No. 1 overall in total points and has a flair for the dramatic, as evidenced by his 30-foot eagle putt to win at Boston.
The 38-year-old South Carolina native will have some strong competition from Smith, though.
The British Open champion is at the top of the leaderboard when it comes to scoring average with 66.5 and made a statement with his three-shot victory in Chicago.

Smith is motivated to prove that his decision to jump ship from the PGA to LIV was the right move.
"I think I had to prove to myself and other people that I'm still a great player, I'm still out here to win golf tournaments," Smith told the Associated Press. "I didn't have my best stuff, but I stuck tough and made some putts."
Johnson's recent string of strong finishes at LIV's 54-hole events has been impressive, and there's no sign of him slowing down—even as the field gets deeper with top talent.
4 Aces Keep Up Winning Ways
Five in a row?
Is that even possible?
This weekend, 4 Aces will try for an unprecedented fifth straight team win and possibly stamp themselves as LIV Golf's first mini-dynasty.
Led by Johnson, who's joined by Patrick Reed, Talor Gooch and Pat Perez, the team has separated itself from the pack.

The last team to notch a win was the Stingers in London four months ago.
Brooks Koepka is the captain for that foursome, and he and his squad will definitely look to thwart the 4 Aces' impressive run.
