It's Week 4 of the 2022 NFL season, so you know what that means.

It's time to run through the latest fantasy football rankings. Obviously.

Focusing on the four skill positions, we'll lay out our weekly point-per-reception rankings, then break down a player at each spot with an exploitable matchup.

Quarterback

Top 10

1. Josh Allen, BUF (at BAL)

2. Lamar Jackson, BAL (vs. BUF)

3. Jalen Hurts, PHI (vs. JAX)

4. Patrick Mahomes, KC (at TB)

5. Kyler Murray, ARI (at CAR)

6. Justin Herbert, LAC (at HOU)

7. Tom Brady, TB (vs. KC)

8. Aaron Rodgers, GB (vs. NE)

9. Russell Wilson, DEN (at LV)

10. Jared Goff, DET (vs. SEA)

Favorable Matchup: Josh Allen at Baltimore Ravens

This weekend's forecast in Baltimore calls for fantasy fireworks. With Allen and Jackson on the same field, the scoring could come early and often.

As far as matchups go, it's polar opposites for the two dual-threat quarterbacks. While the Bills have allowed the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks, per Yahoo, the Ravens have surrendered the second-most. Granted, much of the damage done was by Tua Tagovailoa during his six-score outburst, but Joe Flacco and Mac Jones both cleared 300 passing yards against this defense.

Allen, this season's third-highest fantasy scorer (behind only Jackson and Tyreek Hill), doesn't need a great matchup to go off, but his line could be particularly absurd this weekend.

Running Back

4. Austin Ekeler, LAC (at HOU)

5. Derrick Henry, TEN (at IND)

6. Nick Chubb, CLE (at ATL)

7. Leonard Fournette, TB (vs. KC)

8. Najee Harris, PIT (vs. NYJ)

9. Alvin Kamara, NO (vs. MIN)

17. Jeff Wilson Jr., SF (vs. LAR)

18. Antonio Gibson, WAS (at DAL)

19. Cordarrelle Patterson, ATL (vs. CLE)

20. Miles Sanders, PHI (vs. JAX)

Favorable Matchup: Alvin Kamara vs. Minnesota Vikings

Assuming Kamara is cleared to play—he's officially questionable (ribs)—he could run wild in London.

Only three defenses have allowed more fantasy points to running backs than Minnesota's, per Yahoo. Jamaal Williams rushed for a pair of touchdowns against the Vikings just last week.

So, the matchup alone looks inviting, but the opportunity might be even better. Jameis Winston is doubtful (back and ankle), Michael Thomas is out (foot) and Jarvis Landry is questionable (ankle), so the Saints could lean on Kamara harder than ever.

Wide Receiver

18. Drake London, ATL (vs. CLE)

19. Curtis Samuel, WAS (at DAL)

20. DK Metcalf, SEA (at DET)

Favorable Matchup: Deebo Samuel vs. Los Angeles Rams

It hasn't been a disastrous start to the season for Samuel, but it has been a bit sleepy. He has yet to tally 100 scrimmage yards in a game and hasn't seen the end zone since his Week 1 score.

This could be the game that wakes him up.

The Rams aren't just a division rival, they're also one of the most favorable matchups a fantasy wideout can find. Only the Ravens have allowed more fantasy points to the position, per Yahoo, as L.A. has allowed some monstrous efforts by the likes of Stefon Diggs (eight receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown), Drake London (eight receptions for 86 yards and a score) and Marquise Brown (14 receptions for 140 yards).

Tight End

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - SEPTEMBER 25: T.J. Hockenson #88 of the Detroit Lions catches the ball for a touchdown in the second quarter of the game against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium on September 25, 2022 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. (Photo by Stephen Maturen/Getty Images)

Top 10

1. Mark Andrews, BAL (vs. BUF)

2. Travis Kelce, KC (at TB)

3. Daren Waller, LV (vs. DEN)

4. Kyle Pitts, ATL (vs. CLE)

5. George Kittle, SF (vs. LAR)

6. T.J. Hockenson, DET (vs. SEA)

7. Tyler Higbee, LAR (at SF)

8. Pat Freiermuth, PIT (vs. NYJ)

9. Zach Ertz, ARI (at CAR)

10. Dallas Goedert, PHI (vs. JAX)

Favorable Matchup: T.J. Hockenson vs. Seattle Seahawks

The lack of depth at tight end is perhaps best reflected in a player like Hockenson. Week-to-week, you'll find him ranked among the top 10 (usually comfortably inside), even though his season stat line features just 10 receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown.

He is at least coming off his first score of the season, and he has already seen seven targets in two different games, so the opportunity for a fantasy breakout exists.

The Seahawks might bring it out of Hockenson. They have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to the position, per Yahoo, and just last week, they watched Kyle Pitts turn eight targets into five receptions for 87 yards.
